I have absolutely zero idea how they’d pull it off without us spending time somewhere else.

Maybe, as unlikely as it sounds as I’m typing it, the new training ground will be built with a significant enough stadium that can be used for a year or so.

Long and short they’ll build it and it’ll have about 45k. Knock down Leazes. Build the last bit. 70k. Knock down the rest of SJP.

Not that I’m an engineer or owt, but imagine we’ll play for a season with a reduced capacity of 45k. Then finish the build in the close season as best as we can to bring it up to 70k. No where else for us to go.

TynesideLife in the mud.

Only as good as your last video, tbf.

He's still basking in discovering we're a year older than we thought.

What's Tyneside Life said now? Can't say I follow any of that stuff on YouTube.

It’s more of a case of him in the past saying certain things just wouldn’t happen, when it looks like it is.

I have to say though, I will still be surprised if we aren’t trying to go on Castle Leazes instead.

He’ll become a friend of Leazes Park and post videos objecting to the stadium.

I'm waiting for the video where he tries to speak to whoever owns that one house in leazers park. Maybe then he can do a video wanking in the bandstand.

Honestly I'm so fucking bored of waiting for the announcement now.

Aye, does feel like a long time coming at this point.

You’d think I’d have patience after the takeover sage but here we are.

I tell ya what I recon the scrapping of the APT rules could have a bearing on their decision. PIF aren't concerned about getting more people attending games it's generating more revenue. And if that can now be done via commercial deals it could sway their thinking. So maybe they're waiting to see how it plays out.

Don't think so, there's the prestige as well and a new stadium will bring in more cash on top of sponsorship.
