Goodbye Europe

Today was another proof that Roeder is just average manager

Can someone tell me why Roeder took off Milner when he was playing better than Zoggy who should have really been taken off??

Tactical adjustments should have been made.  This game was ideal for Sibierski with all the long ball stuff going on.  Play should have been much quicker and we should have tried to push the ball on the "break".  Milner and to a lesser extent Zoggy were lively on the wings, but still no end product.  Nobody impressed or stood out except Schwarzer.

Middlesbrough have to be the most boring team in the world. Shay didn't have a save to make.

wow, the team had no cutting edge today. milner especially was very poor, and martins doesn't look confident at the moment.

Yes he did!, once I think.

Once when he flicked the ball away from the striker and one straight at him. Both were regulation.

I thought Zog looked good.

What let us down was centre midfield again. Parker was in his usual pedestrian pace.

Given - 7 - Was he playing?

Solano - 7 - Not a foot wrong. With his only one cross, did more than Milner.

Taylor - 7 - Solid, and showed commitment.

Onyewu - 6 - Looked shaky, but not terrible.

Bramble - 8 - Rock.

Milner - 6 - I do very much like him as a player, but I felt like beating him with a wooden plank. Tried and failed with the same "move" a thoooousand times. Highly unintelligent and one-dimensional display. Really needs to learn the game better. Worked hard, mind you.

N'Zogbia - 6 - Doesn't look matchfit, nor confident, to me. Started to get back into it though.

Parker - 7 - Decent display, including some intelligent play against Boateng.

Butt - 7 - Impressive.

Martins - 6 - Poor for me. It's a rare bad showing though. :)

Dyer - 7 - Worked hard, but had little to work with.

Sibierski - 7 - Did well for the brief time he was on.

I thought Parker had decent enough game apart from his pirouettes and Zogs game was bad today but it is only his second appearance  after a long injury.

today was the perfect example of why ticket prices are too high. £40 for that shit?! i thought £20 was bad for that last uefa cup match.
