BlufPurdi
Pish. First-half diagnosis? Second-half diagnosis? Full-time diagnosis? Star man for United? Worst United player? Opposition comment? Toon-pros? Toon-cons? Post-match feelings?

Karjala
Ideal chance to move up table and push on for a Euro spot. But as with the Wigan result, i think we are showing why we wont qualify for Europe. Some tougher games coming up too.
Syrette
Given - 7 Solano - 7 Taylor - 7 Onyewu - 5 (making a few mistakes but he's still settling in so I'm not going to hold it against him) Bramble - 6 Milner - 6 N'Zogbia - 5 (few decent runs, not much end result) Parker - 7 Butt - 7 Martins - 6 Dyer - 7 Sibierski - 6 Roeder - 7 (just)
NUFC06
Goodbye Europe Today was another proof that Roeder is just average manager Can someone tell me why Roeder took off Milner when he was playing better than Zoggy who should have really been taken off?? Guest
Weren't great but certainly did enough to win the game. They were nothing.

Shearer9
Tactical adjustments should have been made. This game was ideal for Sibierski with all the long ball stuff going on. Play should have been much quicker and we should have tried to push the ball on the "break". Milner and to a lesser extent Zoggy were lively on the wings, but still no end product. Nobody impressed or stood out except Schwarzer.
garth
Boring game to watch, after watching the Liverpool, Manure game I can see why we'll never make to the top six they are class above us.
Guest Alan Shearer 9
Absolutely disgusting. Our team has all the cahonas of an ant
Guest smoggeordie
Middlesbrough have to be the most boring team in the world. Shay didn't have a save to make.
Newcastle Fan
We never looked like scoring,My only fear was that they couldve scored one and win it the same way Sheff united did.. Poor peformence today.. Agree with melanchronics ratings..
Parky
When teams sit deep we don't have a a foraging/attacking CM who can instinctively take advanage.

Guest JamesD
wow, the team had no cutting edge today. milner especially was very poor, and martins doesn't look confident at the moment.

Once when he flicked the ball away from the striker and one straight at him. Both were regulation.

Guest smoggeordie
I thought Zog looked good. What let us down was centre midfield again. Parker was in his usual pedestrian pace.

Beren
Given - 7 - Was he playing? Solano - 7 - Not a foot wrong. With his only one cross, did more than Milner. Taylor - 7 - Solid, and showed commitment. Onyewu - 6 - Looked shaky, but not terrible. Bramble - 8 - Rock. Milner - 6 - I do very much like him as a player, but I felt like beating him with a wooden plank. Tried and failed with the same "move" a thoooousand times. Highly unintelligent and one-dimensional display. Really needs to learn the game better. Worked hard, mind you. N'Zogbia - 6 - Doesn't look matchfit, nor confident, to me. Started to get back into it though. Parker - 7 - Decent display, including some intelligent play against Boateng. Butt - 7 - Impressive. Martins - 6 - Poor for me. It's a rare bad showing though. Dyer - 7 - Worked hard, but had little to work with. Sibierski - 7 - Did well for the brief time he was on.
