I always felt a bit embarrassed about us having the gold numbers etc. When gold/silver numbers started to emerge it was being adopted by successful clubs, eg Milan, so they held some kind of prestige. Agreed. I used to do something very similar on Pro Ev when i was making new Toon shirts for my ML team. It was a dark, deep blue with an almost white-blue outline. Really made the numbers stand out. Hope we get rid of the gold, which is tacky as hell, and the numbers/adidas stripes should be a proper material - not plastic. Sick of buying shirts for £40 quid which cost a fiver to make.
