oldtype
Michael Chopra scoring against NUFC is about as likely as Ashley selling the club. It's not impossible, but it probably won't happen in our lifetimes.
Cajun
If he was threw one on one he would hold the ball up and try to pass it before shooting.
Guest Heneage
Ran rings around Taylor.. one very good turn when he shot against taylors arm (and no it wasn't a pen even though i've seen them given). outside that, nothing. good championship striker....no more. I was being sarcastic mate.
Mowen
Absolutely gash. I wanted to boo him early doors, but he took so long to touch the fucking ball I'd forgotten all about it.
Heron
I fancied him to get one or two today, but he failed...as he is a Mackem Tiddlerskull.
Guest
It was like he was trying to do everything not to score against us again mind. I remember one free-kick late on just outside the area, where he pretty much marked out the exact spot he wanted the ball laid off too meaning Barton was about 4-5 yards away by the time he shot meaning he could easily block it. BlueStar
Well exactly, if he ever scores against us and we see how he celebrates we might have a reason for all this "Little shit, hope someone cripples him" talk

BONTEMPI
I think he does lower his game against us on purpose. He did it when at Sunderland when he had a glorious chance to finish and he's done it with a sub par performance with the sheep shaggers. Nice one son! Guest neesy111
Chopra Arrested on Sunday http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/north-east-news/todays-evening-chronicle/2010/02/24/chopra-arrested-after-night-out-in-newcastle-72703-25904469/ FORMER Newcastle player Michael Chopra spent four hours in a police cell after a night out on Tyneside. The Chronicle can reveal the forward was arrested in the early hours of Sunday in Newcastle city centre. Officers spotted him and a pal acting in a drunken manner as they made their was along Grey Street at around 1.40am. The pair were both held and taken to the city’s Market Street police station, where they spent four hours sobering up in a cell. Both were then issued with £80 fixed penalty notices for being drunk and disorderly and released at around 5.40am. The incident came just hours after Chopra played for Cardiff City at home against Barnsley, a game they lost 0-2. A police spokeswoman said: “Two men aged 26 and 18 were arrested in Grey Street, Newcastle city centre on Sunday, February 21 at 1.30am on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly. “They each received a penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly.” Gosforth-born Chopra was a product of Newcastle United’s academy but failed to hold down a regular first team place and was sold to Cardiff City ahead of the 2006/07 season. A year later, Roy Keane, who famously dubbed him a “fox in the box”, bought him for the Toon’s arch rivals Sunderland for £5.5m but he lasted just a season-and-a-half before moving back to Wales. Chopra’s arrest comes just weeks after he punched a Magpies fan during a game at St James’ Park. The 26-year-old was watching United play Crystal Palace from the players’ box with a friend when the fan asked him if he could have a photo taken with him. As Chopra climbed down from the Milburn Stand, the fan asked him “What’s it like to play for Sunderland?” before spitting in his face and then assaulting him. The striker then punched him in the face – leaving his own right hand swollen, before security staff moved in quickly to detain the fan and take him away. Chopra married childhood sweetheart Heather Swann in a £250,000 wedding at Orchardleigh House in Somerset, in 2008. But it was reported the couple were rowing within hours of the ceremony and he was said to have come home early from their honeymoon. The couple, who also have two-year-old son Sebastian together, had a rocky relationship that saw them row publicly in city centre bars. And in September 2008, police were called to their Northumberland home are reports of a domestic dispute. The matter was resolved and no arrests were made.
