    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Oh my word, you may as well go and marry Luke.
  4. Another source on the above - https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jun/16/womens-super-league-14-clubs-expansion-professional-second-division
  5. Pretty sure Eddie confirmed the Nmecha link was true and we had an interest.
  6. Mole

    Anthony Elanga

Not particularly, I know it happened and seen a few things here and there but in terms of watching actual football I barely know anything. Like most of the names on the front page are a complete mystery to me
  7. Do you not have Futbology? I feel it would be right up your street.
  8. Kanj

    Anthony Elanga

Mole is back! Did you literally not follow us since Eddie has been manager?
  9. SteV

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I wouldn’t say it’s the same. That Barella stuff was completely out of the blue, no one had mentioned it until he did (obviously in hindsight). There’s been a lot of noise around Pedro already. And we’ve been very close to signing him at least once already. You’d think there’s every chance we’re still interested.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

He did the same with Nmecha as well. Even had the audacity to question Howe over signing Tonali over Nmecha after he scored the winner against us at home to Dortmund in the post-match presser iirc.
  11. Huge! And a third placed playoff. Perfect time for us to go big this summer. https://womensleagues.thefa.com/wsl-football-regarding-expansion-of-the-bwsl
  12. JP

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

So funny how he's referenced the club leaking wrong players purposely in the past when all along he was the culprit
  13. havent seen any yet. Boxing Day away to mackems would be smashing.
  14. NSG

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Not saying that JP won’t go ahead, but this is very reminiscent of when the club leaked the Barella stuff to him when we signed Tonali.
  15. I tend to just think he’s a boring lad who has very little to say and when he does have a lot to say it’s normally WUM-oriented
  16. Hard to take Baldwards too seriously when he's asking questions such as "have you been working out?" really. These days he's pretty harmless. An average journo, who's very good at farming engagement on social media. I used to get the hate when he was more of a WUM, but he's definitely calmed down a bit. The passionate simping for him is almost as strange as the over the top hatred though.
  17. For father's day just sat and tried to catalogue every single away game I've been to - ~90% of which have been with my da. *Think* I've got them all. Most visited: Mackems/smoggies (9) Most visited non-NE: Liverpool/Villa (7) (ManU is 6 plus 2 semi finals at OT though) Most wins at: mackems (4) Biggest win %: 3 out of 3 at Leeds My biggest away win: mackems / smoggies 4-1 Biggest away defeat: 0-5 Chelsea Most losses: 5 out of 5 at Chelsea Most cumulative goals scored for us: Smoggies, 16 Most cumulative conceded: Liverpool, 17 Biggest 'cumulative win': 8-3 Blackburn (3 wins and a draw) Biggest 'cumulative defeat: 2-14 Chelsea (5 defeats)
  18. Ha aye Sunderland away Boxing Day! Man City home first game monday night!
  19. Alun Armstrong the new Heed manager. Underwhelming to say the least. Fans not too happy about it, it would appear.
  20. I flew straight to PSG two years ago from Bristol ha
  21. Nucasol

    João Pedro

He’s been njoy-ing his time there.
  22. Danh1

    João Pedro

Wasn’t keen at first but more I’ve learned about him the more I want him. Those horrid second half’s against Everton, West Ham and Brighton last season are where we need someone who can bring something different when we look devoid of ideas.
  23. Butlins or the Bernabau? Tough call.
  24. Jewel

    João Pedro

Since when did Ekitike become an £80m player? I can't really say I've followed his career since he left PSG. He must be really tearing it up in Germany for Frankfurt.
  25. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4grnrg8dy8o WSL going from 12 to 14 teams from 26/27 season. Top two get promoted next season.
