Grealish as the CM loan option for one year would work for me. But don’t see why Man City would let him move to a direct rival on loan. Full transfer different question, but that won’t happen. Agent again must be looking for a move out for him, which will be to Villa if he leaves.

This for me too - done deal surely I also think the same about DCL and I’d certainly take him on a free if Wilson goes
-
Cheers. Obviously a total disgrace this season but more than happy it benefits us next!

Away and Google it ya lazy git

There’s far too much concentrated noise around Trafford, with no other clubs seemingly linked, for the deal not to happen IMO. Do believe a gentlemen’s agreement was established last summer with Trafford and Burnley, and once our season is completed we will make a formal move. £20m rising to £25m would be a logical guess.

Did they? Where was that reported? Here is the wording from https://www.efl.com/news/2024/august/28/carabao-cup-round-three-draw-confirmed/ Draw Conditions were implemented for the Carabao Cup Round Three draw due to the scheduling of European competition fixtures over two exclusive midweeks in September. Carabao Cup Round Three fixtures will take place W/C 16 & 23 September, with fixtures in the Champions League (W/C 16 September) and Europa League (W/C 23 September) also scheduled during this period. The additional dates required in the calendar for European competitions are as a result of an increased number of games for the 2024/25 season. To ensure there is no clash of fixture dates, conditions were implemented during the Round Three draw to ensure a Club participating in the Champions League does not draw a Club participating in the Europa League, to enable the Round Three fixtures to take place in the alternate week.

Never want to play them again! Never hear the end of it if they beat us - one off game anything can happen - They’d probably take 3 points all season and be happy if they were from us - sad twats!

Villa seem to have managed it pretty well and Howe will have learned from a couple of seasons ago. A bigger squad (a better bunch of bench players) is a must however.

This cunt been built yet.

Anyone seen anything of Senne Lammens? Read up on him and he seems a keeper.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
Turnbull2000 replied to Rich's topic in Football
No. The CL regulars successfully lobbied to avoid each other completely. So no Liverpool/Arse/Chelsea/Villa possible in the 3rd round draw. -
Starting to think Semenyo would be a good idea for RW Big, strong, fast, great at pressing, supposed to be very 2 footed and helps defensively, and is versatile, turned 25 in January Ticks all the Howe boxes
-
It's hilarious
-
I believe it is but the rule is that teams in the CL can't meet teams in the EL due to UEFA dates, so we can still play one of the other 5 CL teams assuming we qualify, it just so happened that this year all the European teams ended up with easy ties anyway and a CL team didn't draw Man U or Spurs (insert joke of choice about easy games against those two here) Bye to the third round aswell though so at least that's something!
-
I'd take Jack. Howe would work wonders with him. Great player that can chip in with goals.
-
Aye, get a bye to the 3rd round, and even then you can’t get a fellow European teams.
-
Mendy was tops for like 2-years for Chelsea. Think he won the FIFA GK award deservedly. Won the AFCON and CL in the same year iirc
-
Yes. Two viable options near current ground. Not confirmed so don’t quote me. Just a bit of chatter from somewhere. Guess if we want bigger the further out they must go.
-
And remember we’re in the cool gang that can’t get a hard draw in the third round of the Carabao now (assuming that’s still a thing next season?).
-
Christ Carlos Kameni was an FM beast, signed him from Espanyol on multiple saves.
-
Personally I think they'd have to do that if they want any chance of staying up, regardless of who their keeper is.
