It’s almost like they are giving themselves an “ok” excuse to not be bothered at all. I understand priorities, but I hope we never become like that no matter what. Should always do our best and try to win and build that winning mentality like we have done so far. Im 100% certain that they won’t give their all, or even close. I can accept if we rest players sometimes and don’t manage to be as good, but the work ethic and aim to compete must always be there, otherwise there’s no chance of getting anywhere.

Being able to thankfully sign 3-4 players for modest sums in the first January window he had, which certainly helped, this is 100% on the money. He got to work on the training pitch, assessed what we had and knew immediately what it would take and we went from bottom to 11th in short order. Sensational. I think Spurs winning at Villa would be legitimately one of the most surprising results in PL history.

I’m sure plenty of people saw the graphic put up on Sky yesterday showing the combined points totals over the last three seasons. We were 4th behind Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. So he’s basically had two-thirds of a season with a team that were in the relegation zone, and then made them a CL league standard team over a consistent period of time. It’s an incredible achievement.
