Think he was LW and second striker at Watford, which is encouraging because it probably means if we sign him we'll also sign an out-and-out RW too
-
The hatred was absolutely visceral. Several on here covered themselves in shame with the attacks.
-
I think people just don’t have a deep enough liking for him because they hated him before he arrived. So any poor period and he’s not going to get the support he should get.
-
If we're spending £60m+ on him I'd be wanting more than 5 non-penalty goals, like. I dunno, I sound miserable but I really hope all these links are smokescreens because I don't like any of them
-
Had a deeks on the Brighton forum. What a hunch of utter gimps
-
He'll be both a back up to and play up with Isak. Honestly think he'll displace Joelinton in some games and play further forward with Tonali and Bruno behind. If he can play wide right too he's actually a completely sensible signing. Thats 3 positions. Could maybe cover LW too. I thought he was a RW at Watford tbf, but I cant remember entirely. Might be wrong there.
-
Howe trying to sign all the elbow merchants. Who's next? Havertz?
-
Yea, that is what I am wondering. I would think he starts at RW and drifts inside. Hopefully he is not seen as a Isak replacement.
-
I dont understand this obsession to sell Gordon. The injury set him back and he wasnt fit for some time after that. Give him the CL season next year at least.
-
I don't know of a more versatile player out there tbh barring maybe Cuhna? This would be a sensational signing.
-
Looking at that heat map on a previous page, he's actually a good Joelinton replacement for when you're trying to break down teams that sit back. Which we've struggled to do. He's occupied the same space in attack. You get better quality on the ball, better link up play between him, Gordon and Isak and sacrifice the defensive side of Joelinton for when it's not needed. Much better goal threat too.
-
But we've been in for him previously? Nearly signed him. So we obviously have a plan to play with him in the side?
-
Really want this one to happen, really think he’s exactly what we need.
-
Van Hecksing might be the one at fault then. Having said that Joao Pedro was also a few centimetres away from an elbow worse than Ben Thatcher's.
-
He has changed to some games or because of injuries. His go to plan is 4-3-3. If he buys players that suit totally different formation, that changes all the pressing and defending and everything. I don't see the point in buying Pedro unless it is that we are trying to take advantage of his situation in Brighton and him wanting out.
-
Saw some Brighton fans say up until whatever happened the other week he was fine. Watford fans seem to think very highly of his professionalism/workrate too.
-
They are I don't want to lose either. I think Hall has a higher ceiling though. I'm just saying Tino has looked better at left back which is odd. His contributions in the final third are alot lower. If we were to lose one it would have to be Tino.
-
We do so many background checks, not worried about any new signings regarding character.
-
We have to sell our purples sometime, the key is to sell the right purple at the right time. id be happy to get a good price and sell him if it meant a significant growth in squad reinvestment. prefer to lose Gordon, but would rather keep Tonali, Bruno, Isak
-
Maybe Bruno has put in a good word? Will obviously know him.
-
That's the one I can't get my head around. He does seem like a bit of a dickhead.
-
I was going to say they will be England's full backs for the next 10 years, however that dopey Jarman probably wants Winterburn and Dixon back
