I hope (based on no evidence) that we're aggressively chasing free and low cost deals as a priority, to replace the Wilsons of this world, then some purples to strengthen the first XI. The thing with a Jonathon David or Angel Gomes, you can go on about whether they're a perfect fit or how their wages are high, but in a PSR world I struggle to see how signing a good player for free is bad. The day after you sign them you have a 30m player you didn't have yesterday. I'm concerned Eddie doesn't have an elite attitude towards transfers. Get the pitchforks out, I said it.
