  1. Past hour
  2. 300 employees on (generously) £30K a year is £9m, yet you're lashing out £130m on two more speculative signings, there'll be another £150m spent next summer too. Don't give me that shite.
  3. We weren't far away from that, and our starting point was lightyears higher than yours.
  4. Your problem is cash, not PSR if people are losing their jobs. edit. Bruno is not going to saudi it seems.
  5. I think we're trying to implement a wage structure where the top players get £200k and you need to be something special to get more. Those Rashford and Casemiro contracts were huge mistakes (Sancho also). Only Bruno deserves that money. I do think Newcastle will be forced to pay this money to players like Isak soon.
  6. Yeah, I get that the Glazers are way worse than Ashley, but you gotta understand our point of view too. The Glazers have gotten super rich, sure, but they *have* shown ambition, spending crazy money on players everyone thought were amazing. Like, I thought Antony was gonna be huge, same with Pogba and Maguire – the list goes on. Ashley, though? Zero ambition. Every time we were close to something big, he'd screw it up willingly at that. He slowly turned our loyal fans into bitter enemies, and that's no small feat. At least the Glazers showed and still show some ambition, trying to buy top players. We finished fifth and got Anita that summer. You'll be hard-pressed to find a Newcastle fan who totally agrees, but I get what you're saying.
  7. Glazer's have taken £2b out of the club mate. Your losses aren't in the same stratosphere. We could have bought your club 3 times over with the interest payments on our debt alone. That isn't a narrow metric. The Swiss Ramble has done reports on all of this. Not going to talk about this anymore in this thread. So if I ignore your replies in here it's because I don't want to derail the thread.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6387767/2025/06/03/newcastle-united-transfer-latest-summer-window-2025/?source=user_shared_article TLDR: CB - Guehi RW - Semenyo, Elanga, but European-based wingers have been tracked No interest in Grealish GK - Trafford and Garcia noted ST - David tracked but expected to go elsewhere, Joao Pedro liked
  9. You only have to look at Villa, who didn't finish in the bottom 5 by the way, but just missed out on CL football so will have to sell because they took a risk and it didn't quite pull off
  10. Most likely 200k is way more than we can afford. The thing is that it would make him Newcastle's top earner and automatically other players would be asking more. When you have Rashford and Casemiro on 300k a week, 200 isn't that bad for wage budget.
  11. 200k is still a gigantic wage for any club bar three or four clubs
  12. If a team like us had consistently made the mistakes Man U have we’d be in the Championship or lower.

    Of course they are
  14. What was your revenue before they took over and what is it now? Please check what ours was prior to Ashley taking over and compare. Sure, you can use the narrowest of metrics and try and prove your point but this is likely the only one you can find which paints the Glazers worst than Ashley and even then it's Fugazi. We lost far more under Ashley than you have under the Glazers, let's talk about the totally flat revenue over 14 years, the unpaid sponsorship. The two relegation. John Carver. The list is endless and you of all people should know this. I personally fully support your presence on here but it's stuff like this why people call for you to be binned off.
  15. Aye there's no impact on us at all. Just ask the hundreds of people losing their jobs and the extreme cuts right across the club. The club is on it's knees at the minute while we try and get the financials right, and that's mainly because of the transfer mismanagement.
  16. Not sure if anyone has mentioned the elephant in the room at all but personally I think Sunderland will struggle next season.

  18. Cue the Wayne Lineker of Bellinghams being sold to West Ham in 2027/28, stood outside the athletics stadium doing that cringey “X” thing with his arms.
  19. Dortmund know that him being English-born, a couple of season performing at a semi-competent level with some Champions League appearances thrown in will have the likes of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Everton willing to thrown £40m+ at them.
  20. he seems ponderously slow whenever I have seen him play.
  21. I'm not acting like the rules don't apply to you, more that they are near-infinitely less impactful than they are to you and clubs that have already entrenched themselves at the top of a tree by their own design. Us, Aston Villa, Everton, Nottiingham Forest and any other potential usurper has to be near-perfect in their recruitment, their salary structure and performance of the team as a result to come anywhere near breaking the stranglehold created. And if we do get our recruitment right, a legion of media shills are waiting in the wings to link our best players away at every turn to the beloved six in an attempt to unsettle them and ultimately tempt them to leave. Again making us have to back to our near-perfect recruitment strategy again in an attempt to catch up to teams who have taken those players away. Since PIF took over you can count the number of duds we have signed for £10m+ on less than Dan Burn's right hand, whereas let's put Man Utd and Chelsea's transfers up in the same period for comparison. The list of failures would be legion.
  22. There's no piss poor logic. We're one of the biggest clubs in the world, and we already need to sell to satisfy PSR because we're signing a player from Wolves and a player from Brentford. We're likely going to sell one of most promising youngsters this summer and potentially even our best player and captain, but people are still acting like we can spend freely.
  23. In 2012/2013, you spent £76 million. In 2012/2013, we brought in Vurnon Anita. My heart bleeds.
  24. Yeah I'd say it'll be £200k for Cunha and Mbuemo, and we need to stop acting like that's some massive wage these days for established Premier League stars. I could understand if we were firing Rashford/Casemiro wages at these guys, but we're not.

    Plane spotting

I’m hoping to become the official NO flight ITK bullshitter tbh. I’ll set the kids up on Flight Radar looking for the most tenuous flights and then use an online randomiser to determine and transfer link.
