Controversial take but I believe he is our best player, he is as good defender as anyone. Isak is great too obviously but a little bit overrated

3-4 players in the starting XI definitely. Our problem is that the drop off from our strongest players to our backups is massive. 2 years ago having Wilson come in for Isak wasn't a problem, now it's just embarrassing. Our midfield subs consist of a child, an Arsenal reject and a player so low on confidence that he needs therapy. The defence is a guy who hasn't played in 14 months and an inconsistent full back. We won't be able to challenge properly until we can add some serious depth to the squad and not just the starting XI.

I think he's just playing within the tactical instructions from Howe, he's young and doesn't know when to take those risks like Bruno or Tonali does. This will come with time, his ball retention and first touch is top tier, his weight of pass is good. I want to see him play behind Isak.

Exactly why I think a season at a promotion-chasing Championship club would be perfect if we could get a decent loan to cover him for a year. Within a few weeks down there he'd see he's a class above everyone technically and he can start to express himself a lot more. The following season he'd hopefully have the self confidence to continue that in the Premier League against better players knowing what he's capable of.

It's the needlessly throwing himself to the ground with very little or no contact. It's the protesting on the ground for too long while play carries on. It's the running into blind alleys and attempting to drop the shoulder one too many times. He's really frustrating to watch at the moment.

Yep, it's shite. Even if we could only get £60m for Gordon and sign Eze for the same, isn't it worth something daft like an extra £40m we could spend this summer? Someone with a better understanding of PSR could explain it better.

Who would even be in for Gordon this summer, after the season he has had? Not sure Chelsea need him. I think the likes of us and Villa are the best teams who would start him quite often. Most of the top teams seems to prefer different attributes in their wingers. Was honestly surprised about the Liverpool links last year, I wonder how much they really wanted him. I don't think they do now.

You expect your wingers / inside forwards to lose possession every now and then, otherwise they're not really attacking. It's the manner of it, losing it in his own half, the head down and slight jog after the ball as if there's something going on. Hopefully just fitness related. Weirdly I think his explosive start with us is now doing him no favours as that's the level we know he can operate at, and he's not been there for a few months now.
