  1. Past hour
  2. I second that on the bases that I too haven't seen much of him, but do like the name.
  3. Personally I want us to sign Akliouche more. Because I've seen him play far less, so it's more exciting.
  4. Kudus is the more talented technician. Nothing wild about it. Kudus was disappointing last season. But in his first season got 8 goals and 9 assists. Same total G/A as "high output" Elanga. Kudus also probably doesn't start in his best position often (RW) cos of Bowen. While I think his positional flexibility might be a hindrance to him. He can play CM, AM, RW, ST, LW etc. which is useful
  5. The foreign markets are cheaper to non EPL buyers. You pay the EPL tax one way or another anyway. Foreign clubs must rub their hands with glee as soon as they see a Prem team interested. Still think there's plenty of value abroad to be fair.
  6. Still convinced he was Graeme Jones
  7. This guy's nickname has to be Jenny, otherwise there's something wrong with Spanish people
  8. It's obviously not a myth like. How Huijsen is like the perfect example of this effect. Player prices are very much a case by case factor though.
  9. It sounded like he thought he was coming and it was just a matter of the details. Sadly we couldn't agree the price with Palace in the end.
  10. "AS Monaco currently has several players who can play on the right wing, including Krépin Diatta, Maghnes Akliouche, and Wilfried Singo. Takumi Minamino can also play on the right, though he is more often used on the left"

    sunderland

Another way to look at it is that we were in fairly atrocious form at the time and had lost seven of the last eight games in league and cup, and yet we still comfortably put them away three nowt on their own patch.
  12. Talking of ITK's whatever happened to Ando7? He used to get a few right back in the day?

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Only reason for Kudos being preferred would be it seems he could do a job up front/behind a striker etc. So preferred we got a RW and someone like Kudos. Does Akliouche only play behind a striker on occasion?
  14. That’s what I’ve been saying. It’s an absolute myth that foreign markets are cheaper; unless of course you want to take wild gambles on obscure talents.
  15. Now new posters coming in giving it the big IAM deserve the boot. Different cloth
  16. Guehi was done and dusted by all accounts. players and staff all thought he was coming. it was extremely close to being a Dan James to Leeds that time
  17. Didn't our 2025 ITK get a ban for saying Trafford was done like 3 weeks ago?
  18. Nucasol

    St James' Park

Actually think that’s relatively balanced. Having all the ducks in a row on the stadium is sensible rather than make an announcement and have to row it back. Appears confident on Pedro.
  19. Elanga Akliouche Kudus People preferring Kudus to Elanga is absolutely wild.
  20. "When he accepted the role, Mitchell was unaware of the extent of Newcastle’s PSR limitations" If true, this would make him a real dummy and Eales a piece of work. Sounds more like an excuse invented after the event, though.
  21. I understand both of the sentiments expressed here however I think it's actually very likely a player would say he's going somewhere without it actually happening. Ultimately the player can believe it as it's what hes been lead to believe by all parties but it still might fall through. I think Trafford would be a prime example of this. I also wouldn't view @Shadow Puppetsas an itk he's just passing on what he's heard and probably regretting it Very little to be gained being a NO Exclusive itk tbh.
  22. Even if they could match the East Stand with the rest of the stadium they'd still have to, absolutely, gut the innards of the current ground. As you say it's not perfect for football either. Went to the concourse for a beer, pre Olivia Dean, and ended up in a horrific queue. Small set up, by the wall, selling water etc for cash only. Usual bar/food counter rammed. To cope with the extra they'd set up a temporary bar, by the window, serving Madri. I'm in this queue. People walking through the queues to get from A to B I'm "this is a bit carnage, this like" Bloke next to me "Aye, mind it's no surpise when you see who's behind the bar" So, this temp set up is staffed by black and brown fellas. Me "what do you mean? That's a temp bar so they've got temp staff in?" Him "well, they should have the regular staff in" Me "they're probably out there, mate" pointing to the arena "or away back home from Uni. Who else is going to do it for 4 hours minumum wage?? Anyway, have you seen how fucking slow that beers's pouring?" He did say "fair point, well made" but was, clearly, a tad racist Thing is it's fucking shit on the concourses on match day as well.
  23. Without us being close to agreeing a fee? I definitely think he was wanting to join. Doesn’t sound like a deal was ever that close though.
  24. I don't see how Guehi is telling our players he's coming when we didn't even agree a fee but okay But others get banned for posting ITK shite? Seems fair
  25. You are right. Watched the Anelka doc and he said a reason he could do so well at rsenal and Chelsea was partly London. He was able to crack on.
