  1. Past hour
  2. To think that the players wont give a fuck at home in the last game of the season is weird.
  3. Because we would be in breach of UEFA’s 70% of turnover spend requirements? UEFA’s FFP rules are not the same as the (current) PL rules
  4. We've literally had a net negative spend this season in terms of transfers, why would uefa have an issue, they think we sold Elliott Anderson, almiron and minteh whilst bringing in only osula who we never play and Lloyd Kelly (who we've now gotten rid of) just for the fun of it? Sunderland fans just done seem to get how ffp works at all, they still think it's the 2000's where owners can just bank roll their teams and that's the only reason we are doing well.
  5. Still think Man U hold Villa on the final day. They never win there and Amorim can’t just keep losing every single game.
  6. I've felt the same as this, but aside from the goals and assists, the PL website has him as #1 for big chances created as well.
  7. Aye you're probably right Absolutely feeble for them 2 set of bastards to finish 16th and 17th. They deserve relegated to league one with the resources they've got
  8. Sels Munoz Milenkovic Burn Kerkez Mac Allister Tonali Rogers Salah Isak Cunha
  9. That table after 38 would make my day, it would be, the best position I think since the Entertainers.
  10. Very hungover. Really struggling here. Great result which is all that matters at this point but fuck me that second half was a tough watch.
  11. So that just about offsets the adidas and merit money parts. Just the £45m loss of Europe money to save now. Presuming that’s Mainoo or Garnacho sold to cover the balance.
  12. You don't like the Simple Jack look?
  13. Ben

    sunderland

We are the only club that abides by the FFP rules
  14. Memories of Jim Scott. always looked like he'd been up all night on the drink
  15. Sorry mate, but there is absolutely zero chance we take points off Chelsea. The final is five days after the game. Personally think you've already got CL qualification wrapped up though.
  16. Don't forget the 25% wage deduction for the players for no CL qualification, which is currently around £40m.
  17. I think a blind man on meth would've introduced a bit more wave 😉
  18. Arteta used to appear a few times on Revista de La Liga back in the day, aye? Sure he seemed like a decent bloke then. Absolutely despise him now - insufferably arrogant, his preening about the technical area and gesticulating is awful. Just makes me love Howe and his level of self-control even more.
  19. Hoping these clowns win their next two matches. I am ready for disappointment. Spurs winning the Europa is clearly better for us. Ange is shot and players will actively avoid spurs in the summer even with CL. If they win they might be daft enough to keep Ange for another season too. Man Utd with CL could manage a half decent rebuild, without it and with a manager who has lost the plot, losing the Europa probably leaves them drifting for another year. Amorim is going to walk away at some point. It’s not about financials with them, they’ll still throw money around most clubs can only dream of, it’s about who would say yes to them.
  20. Winning EL won't be transformational for Spurs. The Spurs "project" is not about winning trophies. It's not something they will consistently do. It's not important to Levy and the club embodies it. They only giving Europa a good shot because of CL qualification. Man U managers need to win trophies. Which is why they have won 3 different types, some of them multiple times, since Ferguson left. It's transformational for us because our "project" does require winning trophies. And we've only been trying to win trophies for the last 3 years.
