  1. Past hour
  2. Tbf he did borrow that off a mate, cos I half know the guy he borrowed it off. He has always been a Newcastle fan though, as per the hundreds of photos of him out there in NUFC kit as a kid.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Nah, I don’t think we could have. He chose Bournemouth cos they were prepared to give him exactly what he wanted. More and more young players and their ‘advisors’ are going down the Bellingham route of choosing clubs to be a stepping stone on the career path they’ve mapped out for themselves. Occasionally, you might find an instance where that works for you, but I’d be wary of it. At least whilst Eddie is our manager anyway, as that just doesn’t align with his MO. As, for Bruno’s release clause, I’d say that was IMO high enough (reportedly anyway), as to be transformative, so those ones I can probably live with.
  4. 14 pages and counting on Sam Fender. Total fewm More lies again, they just can't help it. This, and of course the usual utter bullshit, stating that they have been told off a sister/kids/teachers, that he wasn't interested in us until the takeover. I've never seen a more desperate set of cunts than that lot. Fancy an entire fan base getting worked up due to one musician
  5. Labourers sprint 8 miles a shift as well which really highlights the problem.
  6. Labourers aren't assets - footballers are. These comparisons are very boring and shite.
  7. Who knows, our journalists ask the important questions as always.
  8. Yes, every team in the PL has a large data team now
  9. Sure, I'm sure we could have persuaded him to sign with a higher clause. Let's not forget our skipper had a clause 12 months ago. Psr means an element of pragmatism is required.
  10. Having to play 90 minutes every three or four days, the poor darlings. I know any number of labourers whose hearts are farkin bleeding.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Do we want players that will only sign if you give them a release clause? Don’t think we do really (unless it’s a transformative amount), as Eddie often stresses the need for players to be ‘all in’.
  12. Do we have a data analysis type setup? I literally have no idea.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Starting to see Jadon Sancho being mentioned in the last couple of days as a cut price alternative for £25m. Might just be bullshit of course, it doesn't sound likely....but if we are getting quoted £70m for Elanga....
  14. Aye, I'm all for a flexible approach.
  15. How much would Chevalier cost? Unless it's a huge saving I think Howe would rather just pay the £40m and bring in his top choice. Realistically I think we'll end up compromising and paying between £30-40m for Trafford. Howe wants what Howe wants.
  16. Which obviously served us very well that can't be denied. However (you know this was coming ) its an approach which will cause us to miss some gems imo. I mean we could have had Huijsen a year ago for 1/3 of what we offered for Guehi and a much lower salary as well.
  17. Someone get Yasir watching Match Cam every day. We'll soon sign what we need.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I don't really watch any football content these days, only really Loaded and TTTR now and again, but usually both are less informed than we are over here so pretty pointless when it comes to transfer news.
  19. Sounds like it's pretty much the sand structure as before, a recruitment team with Howe having final sign-off.
  20. Considered Foster and Krul, but now pushing ahead with a new deal for Ruddy according to Caulkin. Also a semi-interesting article from Mark Douglas on our pitch to Huijsen.
  21. Listening to how to win the premier league. The book by the data guy from Liverpool and it has me wondering that with Mitchell firmly in the bin do we have anyone challenging Eddie on who we should buy? I know the popular narrative is we should just let Eddie pick who he wants but I personally think that's a bit of a simplistic take.
  22. Yes sir, even if some players do strike I very much doubt any solidarity exists. Footballers are obviously ran in to the ground but I doubt many of them would be willing to give up those massive pay packets to standard in solidarity.
