It'll be there when he signs his new contract though.
-
Interesting to see they avoid the elephant in the room of FFP like... They skirt around it plenty and say all the outcomes but don't actively say "FFP might force them to sell" which is moreso the reality imo.
-
I get nervous every time I see this thread at the top of the page
-
What did Romano say? He's their dream target? Think there's more chance of Gordon heading in that direction.
-
There's too much smoke. I need to be held.
-
Don’t play that shit Mike
-
Mate was at the same wedding as him last week, got a video of Isak wishing my son and stepson a happy summer Absolutely made our week that did, what a guy.
-
Joelinton is a smokescreen. It’s really Longstaff they want. Longstaff will need his sun cream.
-
iron it back on through greaseproof paper.
-
The feck is Romano on about.
-
He’s basically saying it because a PIF-club would be classed as related party transaction (according to UEFA), which don’t count as profit. Which sounds incredibly subjective, and a legal minefield. But next to no chance we’d sell him (yet), so all pretty irrelevant.
-
No they couldn’t. I’m sure there is safe guarding in place to stop this without fan approval
-
Bit of a segway here - still got my old ASICS top from 93/94 and it's still in good nick, but with one problem - the iconic Blue Star has started to peel off. Does anyone know somewhere that would be able to repair/put a new one on?
-
Meh fuck UEFA they fined Barcelona only £500k for breaches of nearly £270m, They're a bunch of idiots. If 100m for Joelinton gave us the ability to strengthen in the Premier League for 300m worth then I'd accept it although it would be tough to see him leave 😕
-
Context is everything. Forgetting the fact red is the Mackems. If Mike Ashley ran the club properly, invested in the team and had a cup win and two CL qualifications under his ownership no one would give a fuck about the colours he choose for an away shirt. im not happy with the Saudi green as it screams sports washing but I’ll never buy it it’s a shame many will
-
What Stefan is claiming is that UEFA FFP doesn’t recognise profit from related parties. It’s probably why in the last accounts the sale from ASM was marked down too.
-
That's what I thought. Almost paid off so that 100m would be pure profit a bit like when we sell an academy player. If Stefan is right and we don't get anything then PSR really is the fucking pits like
-
Nobody is buying that tediocrity.
-
Thanks mate. Yeah IF he's fucked his wife and kids off to get on the piss and root reality stars then he's a total piece of shit. It's a total cunts trick that leads to generational trauma. Looks like his kids are between 3 and 8 too, poor buggers.
-
These fucking PIF owned Saudi clubs have totally misunderstood the assignment. They're supposed to sign our shit players for inflated figures. Not sign our good players for reasonable figures and sign our rivals shit players for inflated figures. Sell them Longstaff for 60 million
-
UEFA FFP seems even more daft than PL PSR, if that’s even possible.

It was sarcasm. I have no idea of Andy Howe's credentials and am cynical that the best person for the job just so happens to be the bosses' nephew. That said, Eddie clearly trusts him and their transfer record is decent. -
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/former-newcastle-vipers-player-turned-6867632.amp For a start, he got locked up for being a charity scammer, he didn't do basic research about the event he was supposedly participating in and got caught out almost immediately. He also never gave a fuck about football until he watched Green Street when he was 15 and then turned up the next week in Stone Island gear and talking in a fake cockney accent. He told us that he joined Whitley Bays hooligan firm and decked some kid wearing a Blyth Spartans shirt.

Isn’t it just completely wrong what’s quoted there though? We bought for £40m, we have paid off how much so far? Like at least £30m. We sell for £70m then isn’t that an enormous profit?
