Paul Mitchell - Leaves Club (Hope); No He Hasn't (Edwards)
Newcastle Fan replied to 54's topic in Football
Have to admire Mitchell's commitment to being absolutely useless until the very last day. -
Why modern day football is shite #1043: why can’t we all just get that excitement of fixtures being released and all seeing it at the same time like a cup draw. You just know all the ‘leak’ rumours have already started then some journalist will release the full lot at 8:40am then all the other journos will start tweeting bits out.

Dec 13th away Mar 21st home

Who was the 16 year old forward that tore our Academy side to bits in the UEFA Youth League? He’d be the one.
-
Leao is rumoured to want out. Hernandez and Maignan could possibly leave and for cheap with it being the last year of their contract, the board want to cash in on Loftus-Cheek, Reijnders has already been flogged. Allegri is always reluctant to develop young players, we should make a bid for Bartesaghi.
-
We will get some decent originals stuff and all will be forgiven. I can't see many Saudi lads cutting about in football shirts tbh, it also limits the appeal of getting one every season if the colours are broadly similar.
-
On the plus side, anything above 1 point in those first 2 games is an increase on last season.
-
Sounds like we'll be playing Liverpool at least twice next season.
-
Swiflty followed by Sunderland (A)
-
What a brutal start if true
-
Then Liverpool home - he’s been spot on last few seasons with first few games - nice easy six points ha ha
-
Looks like it’s Man Utd first for Arsenal so this may be true.
-
Think Meeelan are desperate after a rubbish season. They'll do well to hold onto Leao mind
-
Villa away first apparently (From a mate not daft twitter shite ha)
-
aye, Seen that yesterday - Sunday TV I think it was the rumour
-
Man Utd away is the latest twitter rumour.
-
I'd hate to see him go to the scousers but if a strong bid comes in and he wants to go then there's little point in keeping him and we could do a lot with that kind of money and I think keeping him against his will would see his performances go down the pan.
-
Joelinton probably the only other one I'd reluctantly sell if we got a good offer. Not that he'd kick on like Gordon I think he's at his absolute peak, but you could buy a 10 (Pedro?) and change system, or find it easier to find a midfield destroyer for cheaper than a Tonali, Bruno or Isak replacement.

How does Allegri keep getting jobs? His football is absolutely shite.
-
He'd no doubt kick on at Liverpool, but if they're offering a huge fee, he's still the one of the big money players I'd sell if it meant 3-4 come in. Reckon the drop off or hole left by Tonali, Bruno or Isak would hurt us far more and I don't think anyone else in the squad other than possibly Tino now would fetch £70-80m plus.
