Being out of the CL will hurt Spurs more than Man Utd. Think Spurs need it to try and convince themselves and others that this year was a blip and they still belong in the top 7. Man Utd will always have the means to shoot back up even if they don't have CL football. On the other hand though, it's always nice to see Man Utd fail so wouldn't be too arsed which way it goes.

Yeah I think Line 16 puts us Europa. I also don't think the City result has any bearing on us now. We can only catch them with a win which puts us in the CL regardless of what City do.

I wanted Spurs to win more, so they might have kept Ange. But after the league performances where Man U actually bothered to turn up against Chelsea, unlike Spurs gutless showing, I want them to win. Or, to be precise, want them to lose a bit less than I want Spurs to.

Further to this - and you never know what will happen - but the above is assuming that Shitty have won at Fulham - which if they don't, will then throw a load of other perms into the mix - which I'm not even thinking about.

@Colos Short and Curlies Ok, so I got out the spreadsheet and just typed in the perms - there are 27 way the results could end up (taking that the chelsea / forest result will result in the same but opposite). From the outcomes, 7 will put us into the Europa league (@25% chance), with 20 putting us into the champions league (@75% chance). A list of perms is below -

Channel balls are massively out of fashion now but given Tino's all round I'm sure he'll improve, all it takes his attitude and application! Both are easier to find that the talent to do it

They probably paid too much and expected too much of him after only a handful of first team games in the French league. Definitely will be quality as we were after him too. Wonder if we'd take a cut price deal for him if City want to get rid already.
