I mean, he was subbed last weekend 🤷‍♂️
-
Not his fault but he’s more invisible than Wilson up top.
-
Wouldnt mind starting him as a striker if Isak is out. Not that I think he is good there, but just lack of other options.
-
For next season CL qualification should be based on the top 4/5 in the xPts table. In fact points should be handed out based on the higher xG accumulated. More fair that way.

Gonna be an exciting and nerve jangling week but class to go into the last weekend with all to play for. Have to think they'll get it done, haven't failed to deliver in big games at home in the new era and there have been plenty. Keeps everything relevant as well. If Wolves fail to beat Palace Tuesday it renders the game meaningless for position for Everton. Spurs beating ManU would give the latter pride to play for at home to Villa. Gonna sit back and enjoy the ride.

Not sure why people love to talk about getting rid Gordon has been poor since the sending off against Brighton but prior to that he was good He's a good player with some weaknesses (such as his finishing and general passing, which can be too casual) but he's very much an important part of the squad As it is, I would not be starting him on Sunday, the game is too important and he's not shown he's worthy of a start

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

If we can't beat Everton, then we don't deserve champions league football. We're playing a team with nothing to play for and highly likely with most of their first choice defence missing. If we play anything like we have recently at home, then we will win. One thing is important though is that if we go ahead, then we must not sit back. We need to then take the game by the scruff of the neck and look to finish the game off. We don't want a situation of sitting back and the nerves amongst the players and the crowd rising. Fans have to do their job also and support the team throughout, it was noticeable that within the second half against Chelsea, the nerves of the crowd was starting to effect the players also. Obviously there are going to be nerves, with such an importance on the win, but need to keep the support constant throughout the match. This game is massive for being able to have increased revenue to strengthen the team with higher quality and a higher number of players being able to be signed. I'm quite sure Villa, Forest and Chelsea fans would far prefer our fixture. -
Correct. Some people are idiots and always will be. Entitled to their views, obviously, especially on a forum but idiots all the same.
-
Both their starting CBs missing but tbh their back 4 won't look THAT bad. Young - O'Brien - Keane - Mykeleno Its shit but it's not like they'll have to play any youth players are something. They are all decent enough Premier League defenders for a bottom third team.
-
It’s nothing new, fans want to sell different players from week to week depending on results/performances. Wasn’t long ago that Trippier was deemed finished and should be offloaded, now people are clamouring for him to be back in the side.
-
The one thing I take from this season to be honest is that Atalanta have fumbled a once in a century opportunity. 79-82 points is going to be enough. They could have easily had it if they'd just not fucked up too many home games mid season.
-
I blame Cabaye for manhandling their ball boy.
-
Just noticed Everton have lost only 3 of their last 17 games
-
If there’s ever a good way to build up irrational anger towards another set of supporters, it’s going on their forum immediately before playing them.

Newcastle United vs. Everton: 25/05/25 @ 16:00 (TV tbc)

Expect a platoon of xG nonces to storm into the thread armed with stat bazookas ready to blow your vague observations into smithereens -
No idea where this thing with Everton has come from, and it's from people in both fanbases as well. I'm almost convinced it's solely an online thing; I've been to Goodison twice in the last 3 seasons and never had anything but good craic with Evertonians down there, likewise when my Everton mate has come up here. The Pickford thing and Gordon signing for us won't have helped much, admittedly.

We've won 20 out of 23 when we've taken the lead. That includes games were we've went for goals 2 and 3 and games where we've protected what we have. We're fucking good at doing both which the table and results prove. I'm happy for Eddie Howe to manage the game how he sees fit either way. -
Would take a punt on this Parma keeper
-
Unless someones really really wants him, you dont sell a player like him when he has had a period out of form. Doubt anyone would offer anywhere near where his potential value could be atm. To me he was clearly our best player last season, Im willing to give him alot more time to let him get back to his best. Im more annoyed at Eddie for letting him take Barnes place than Gordon himself tbh.
-
My king. I think Howe would have liked him a lot .

Just been in Grand Old Team to see what their supporters are saying about the game next week.... my days, they really don't like us do they? First clue, thread title "The Horse Punchers....." 2025 and still calling us Horse Punchers, what in the Mackemland is that? It's obvious they're desperate to be the ones that stop us from earning CL football next season but the forum is split on the result, most are saying it'll be a beach performance and a simple win for us, but plenty thinking a draw or a win for them. Now I just want to beat them to shut their supporters up!
-
The in-laws support Inter so they're my choice.
-
More often than not I'll side with the underdog
-
Some drama this, like the same starting time on week 37 too.

Looks like both games ending in a draw, to the last day it goes
