I'd be careful, that all sounds like optomism which round these here parts be banned.
  2. But he has no problem at all hitting scousers, who knows, this might work to our advantage.

A bit of positivity Liverpool might fluff their lines, they're behind Man United again and they really need to win all their remaining games and just hope Man United mess up. Of course this could go the opposite way and they play out of their skins from now until the end of the season ... sorry like but both of you are f***ing mental I'm not suggesting we do beat or draw against Liverpool, just saying that its not impossible. Did anyone expect Derby to beat Man U earlier in the season but they did. Admittedly in the other games they conceded 4 each time though, but in one game they did come out with a 1-0 win which no one predicted or expected.

I know crazier things have happened and am quite suprised with my whole glass half full approach to all of this, but we could actually pick up points against Liverpool. I'm not suggesting we're going to win or even saying I think we will win, but there is still a chance we might nick a draw or even a fluke win against them.

Only once, but that's against boro, but I imagine that will be a tight game too

    I still believe we are going to stay up, everytime I predict the scores from the matches to come i get the following final results: 15 Blackburn -20 41pts 16 Newcastle -17 35pts 17 Sunderland -21 35pts 18 Hull -28 34pts 19 Boro -29 31pts 20 West Brom -37 28pts
  7. I'm still staying quietly confident we can stay up. I've constantly based my predictions on us staying up by getting 7 points from our home matches, against Boro and Fulham we should be able to create more chances as they aren't going to put 11 men behind the ball, we can still do this.
  8. The crack addict comment in my opinion is unfair and down to very poor journalism. BUT When you put it like that it like how you have mentioned I agree with you, it does show how far they have both came but equally, it's from The Sun so really I think it wasn't intended in this way.
  9. 1:17 Also, in that team there were quite a dodgy players come to think of it, how did they do so well together
  10. I'm still so nervous about this match and every other game we have to play between now and the end of the season. I've gone through the BBC predictor so many times in the last week and constantly put in what I think the results will be, based on us winning 2 and drawing 1 of our 3 home games we finish 2 points clear of Hull, I'm so praying that's how it is at the end of the season.
  11. Oba's overhead kick v Man Utd. That match seems like a lifetime ago now.

    Jonas Gutierrez

I thought that when I read it. No way should he be in the top ten worst signings. I thought it was a bit harsh on Xisco being there too considering he's not been given the chance to show whether or not he's a good signing.

    Barton Back

I'd love Barton to play in the centre from the start against Pompey but my main worry is tiredness kicking in with some of our players. We've Barton, Viduka and Guthrie coming back from a few months out so I'm more worried about them fading away in the final 30 minutes.
  14. I decided 2 years ago than I'm getting names/numbers put on the shirt, but instead of current players I'm getting legends names instead. 2 years ago I was going to have Milner but instead decided to go with Asprilla 11 on our current shirt. Think for the next shirt I'll be getting Beardsley.
  15. Been sitting here for five minutes and still can't decode this one. I think he just made a sentence out of those fridge magnet words you can get.
  16. The sponsorship does look pretty shit to be fair although not as bad when the shirt is worn in the modelled image. How long have we left on the Northern Rock sponsorship and more importantly, how long before we have a whopping great sportdirect.com logo on the front of our shirts?
  17. http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5218038,00.html We were linked with him in January but I just thought I'd post this for the last sentence which amuses me.
  18. Right now I dont think 17th is out of reach. If we can get the 4 points needed I think our best chance is replacing ourselves with Hull in the bottom 3. Their coming fixtures aren't exactly easy, they've Liverpool, Villa, Stoke, Bolton and Man Utd on the final day which I to be honest I can't see them picking up too many points, if anything no wins and the maybe a draw and Stoke Bolton. I honestly think we'll win against Pompey and we can get a win against either Boro or Fulham so that would put us on 36 points and 2 points above Hull.
  19. The main areas I'd focus on are: 1 centre back instead of Colicinni 1 DM midfielder who can tackle and do the simple thing and pass 5 yards 1 AM midfielder who can pick out forward runs or run with the ball 1 RW midfielder since we've absolute sod all there 1 or 2 strikers depending on whether Owen leaves (that'll be 2 strikers then) I know we need players in other positions but to me these are the most glaringly obvious, in other positions we just need cover i think.
  20. and then miss from 3 yards out like he usually does against us.
  21. What are the chances of Barton playing any part in this game? Physioroom.com has him listed as being back for this match, I'd quite like to see him back in the team since when he comes back from injuries he shows some spirit and determination for the team...................then gets injured 30 mins later.
  22. Personally for the stoke match (and I never thought I'd say this) but I'd play Taylor ahead of Colo. Colo is constantly beaten in the air far too easily, he doesn't appear to be up for the rough and tumble tackles and is turned or pushed away by the player he's marking as far as I can tell. Taking that into consideration would you play a guy who can't head the ball and can't hold his own space against a team who play alot of long/high balls into the box and are a team full of scrappers.
