  1. He makes Micky Quinn look quick, and Quinny could finish!
  2. He's a peasants Sissoko. Quite happy with the swap and almost £30 million in the bank.
  3. Being a "Newcastle fan" has allowed Mitro some slack with a lot of the crowd, but now the vast majority are seeing that he's really not good enough.

    Paul Dummett

    Paul Dummett

Spot on! Had a good game for him, but couldn't trap a bag of sand.
  6. He got forward a lot today but, when he had chances, totally lacked any composure. Much rather see him protecting the back 4 and letting others get forward who are capable of scoring goals.
  7. The back 4 were pretty good? What? Apart from the 2 sitters they missed and the fortunate clearance off the line in the final seconds?
  8. Severely lacking in skill, pace and ability to finish!
  9. Predictably, all 3 looked very nervous. Findlay hit some decent long balls, Barlaser showed for the ball but gave it away far too often and El-Mhanni didn't see a lot of the ball but tried a stupid trick in his own third and lost possession and Rafa hooked him shortly afterwards.
  10. He was so obviously the difference tonight. If he'd been wearing a blue shirt they would have won. Class!
  11. 0-0 the best we can hope for looking at that team.
  12. Isn't Oxford meant to be a really freaking nice place? And right next to London? Oxford itself probably is a nice place to visit but the ground and surrounding area won't be. Rafas awful brand of football with Colback the midfield general.....pass the fucking razor blade. Class!

    Matz Sels

He did but he also showed flashes of absolute brilliance at times to suggest there was something there to work with. Sels has shown none of that and just about everything that gets hit at him goes past him and the less said about his attempts to claim crosses the better. The shots that he does stop he spills straight to the opposition. With Elliot fit again, hopefully we've seen the last of him.
  14. Looking at the pictures, it should have been a red card for their keeper as he's airborne, out of control with studs up. Guarantee, if the roles had been reversed Mitro would have seen red.
  15. Perez over Gouffran on the left every day of the week. What, and expose Dummett? At least Gouf gives a reliable level of performance, rarely gives the ball away and tracks back, whilst Perez offers none of those qualities and his stats prove he's not worth a shirt.
  16. Agree with all of that. Pérez is a waste of a shirt and his play acting is beyond embarrassing. The majority of the crowd were on his back from early on and it's time to get rid, IMO.
  17. He looked fat, slow and out of touch when he eventually came on. Rafa obviously doesn't fancy him, so wouldn't be too bothered if he was traded in the window. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  18. Twats putting their phone lights on in the middle of the game took the general lack of interest in what's actually going on to a new level. They'll be doing the Mexican fucking wave next! Going to the match is just a status symbol for very large numbers now, a lot of genuine supporters have either lost heart, because of the Ashley regime, or been priced out of going. The bloke sitting next to me spends half the game texting or looking at his phone, and a couple of little old ladies at the end of the row have tea and cakes at half time!
  19. He is an average PL player and I don't think I've ever said he and Hayden cannot play together, I think you are mistaking me for someone else perhaps. Shelvey was fantastic yesterday, however, which I managed to witness in the flesh. Huge work rate as well. Piss poor tactics from Birmingham though, they just sat off and didn't press or do anything really. One of the worst teams I've seen at SJP as good as we were. Utter Bollocks! He's much better than your average PL player. Some of the passes he makes most PL players would never even contemplate, he's got the close control to get out of trouble when pressed and his composure when he gets forward is superb, apart from his long distance shooting. His consistency has always been an issue but, under Rafa, he's putting in top performances week in and week out.
  20. The thing is though if people want to do it, no one is getting harmed? It makes me think of the guys who lost there lives when I hear it which isn't a bad thing Why do you want to think of 2 strangers who lost their lives when your watching football? It's just plain weird. Even if you're not clapping, you're thinking of why other people are clapping. Impossible to ignore.
  21. He's painfully slow which will always hinder him in the Premiership. Oh, and he's a crap finisher.
