Have Norwich still got the same central defenders? Mitro's not going to cause any bother with his pace, then it comes down to whether he can impose himself against championship central defenders with his strength. Question mark for me there still, he's decent, but he's no Andy Carroll. Still not convinced by his finishing either. He deserves a chance though, if he performs he can keep the shirt, if not, then I guess Murphy will deserve the next chance to fill the target man role. I am convinced by his finishing, it's shite!

From nufc.co.uk: 27.09.2016 Mitro Fired Up For Packed St. James' Alexandar Mitrović is aiming to continue his hot streak against Norwich in front of the "special" St. James' Park crowd "Hot Streak"

Take the glory for bringing down Fat Sam without muddying waters. Then bring down other greedy bastards every other day for the next 3 weeks. Well, that's what I'd do.
-
No it's not, based on his last couple of run outs.
-
How much is his pay off? Laughing all the way to the bank, the fat fuck!
-
Accident waiting to happen. Don't like the way he catches the easy ball, drops onto his front and kicks his feet in the air like a page 3 bimbo with red furry slipper on. Twat!
-
Punting it 60 yds on a regular basis to this short arsed fucker isn't really playing to his strengths, is it?

Bloke next to me was texting, or some fucking thing, for at least 45 minutes of the game. Total cunt, and remarkably distracting.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Can't pretend I didn't notice this earlier on in the season but I don't know what you are trying achieve with this post. Ultimately he's had a good start to the season and that's what matters. Parker got slaughtered for it. Shows a lack of anything positive. It's frustrating to watch when you expect more. It's all about the movement. If that improves he will deliver. -
Can't see why he couldn't have been pressing for a game here instead of Gayle or, especially, Pérez. You can't teach the finishing instinct and composure he has. Really hoping he comes back in January and Rafa shows some confidence in the lad.

Obviously got at by the far eastern betting syndicates based on yesterday's 'mare.
-
He did have a poor game yesterday, especially first half, but when the whole defence and midfield had a collective shocker, it's hardly surprising. No one seemed capable of getting the ball to him in dangerous areas yesterday. Still convinced he's a good player based on what I saw against Brighton. May be the type of player who needs an extended run in the side to find his top level.

I would definitely have hooked Pérez at HT today. Didn't look up for it all game and was amazed that Ritchie was taken off instead of Pérez. One of their players ran past Pérez in the 2nd half and he just gave up chasing, and then his pissing about in his own third that led to their second topped off a desperate performance. Could and should struggle to get back into the team.
-
as long as he's a hole in his arse he'll be bang average. Got to agree. First time I've seen him live today, and he's even slower than he looks on TV and he looked overweight. He lacks composure in the box and will never be the goal scorer for us that he needs to be.
-
Thought he did the job he was asked to do reasonably effectively.
-
How about creating it and scoring it?
-
Rafa deserves 10% of any deal for the way he's played this mind.
-
Should have played Saturday imo. He must have been able to bring more to the team than Perez showed against Brighton. I think we've just got to trust Rafa to do what's best for the team and the lad, and this could be a good move for everyone as long as he plays regularly.

Not sure about that, Diame man of the match for me. Great touch, power and poise. Utter class! Wait 'til he's fully fit.

Swap him for Knockaert!

Thread title doesn't help.

Kerching! All I can hear every time he does something good or he gets rave reviews from commentators or pundits. Start the bidding at £30 million.

No, like most professional footballers he believes he's the centre of the universe. Vastly overrated, especially in his own head.
