It was Ant & Dec's idea to hand out the free scarves wasn't it? Seem to remember reading that somewhere. Never heard that myself! Was immense when that bird was singing "Time to say goodbye" and the whole ground had their scarves up like Parkhead on a big European night. I was in the Leazes and the Gallowgate looked beautiful, stunning, any word you want to describe it.

Atmosphere was brilliant. Loved it, was my first game too. Ive never been to a game like it, f***ing brilliant, was close to tears at one point after the game when that bird was singing. Brilliant night becasue it was so unexpected. We were s*** at the time, a terrible season, and I think the general feeling people had was that they were only going along becasue they felt they 'had' to. I was blown away by the night and can still remember how I felt on top of the world the next day at work, I was f***ing buzzing for days afterwards. It wasnt even a proper game and it had a pantomime ending but the night just reaffirmed why the bloody hell I love this club.
