Not about to shit he bed yet but that result and performance today was hugely worrying imo. Very early yet but we'll need to improve in all areas quickly, nothing Rafa isn't aware of though.

Looked pretty dreadful tonight, got to be said. Brief flurry of closing down and hustling but a severe lack of quality in key positions. They won't score enough, won't keep enough clean sheets and could still lose the likes of Kone in the next week. Leeds out-thought them and after they weathered the first 10 minutes looked fairly comfortable and in control. I'd be astonished if Sunderland got in the playoffs or even close tbh. Couldn't happen to a more hateful pack of arseholes.
  3. Is he? Don't tend to take much notice of the lower leagues marra. SMB.
  4. Liverpool - Spurs - Gremio - Stoke. A QPR away from being Peter Crouch

This manager's meeting would have been an excellent chance to get shit done, not only for us but for all of the other teams. All 20 managers given direct access to each other to sort stuff out, saves loads of time and bullshit.
  6. Superb news getting this frail, useless, talentless little liability of a fuck out of the club.
  7. almost certainly Wasn't it more to do with revealing slogans written on vests etc?
  8. Agree. He always chooses his words carefully and it wouldn't surprise me if there's developments in the very near future.
  9. If you take pens as poorly as Courtois and Morata did then the order is pretty much irrelevant. I get the pressure switching thing but I'd expect every penalty taker to be under extreme pressure regardless.

They're in complete turmoil on and off the park. Thumping home win coming.
  11. Diame is so fucking sloppy. That's at least 3 decent moves that have broken down because he can't play a simple 10 yard pass accurately. So frustrating to watch.
  12. Madness. The rules must have been published before the tournament, but couldn't help thinking who sponsors Arsenal? Everyone knows the rules at the outset, no matter how stupid. So Arsenal won fair and square. Reminds me of decorating the hut on Auf Weidersehen Pet. So everybody gets what nobody wants? That's democracy, Dennis.
  13. If he's happy then I'm happy. I genuinely think a lot of people underestimated the exponential rise in fees and it's caught us, as a club, out. We've had to readjust things but the signings of Manquillo and Merino point to him bringing in the players he's wanted, maybe not as first choice but definitely players he wants. Bring in another 2 or 3 that he's targeted and we'll be ok/comfortable this season. Next season we need to make inroads and push on to compete with clubs that we want to overhaul. Sounds like a good night though, very interesting.
  14. Even Djilibodji went for about 8m despite barely even playing for them. Buy them low, rent them out every year, keep the good ones and still sell the ones that flounder at a profit. They're just taking advantage of the loopholes that exist, I don't blame them but if the authorities aren't interested in stopping it then why wouldn't you?
  15. I've seen enough, the boy can play. First touch looks very good, has awareness, quick feet, anticipates pressure and can find time and space to lay it off. He'll do for me
  16. Areet mate, key word is potential, probably the weaker of the two twins, but bags of talent, great pace and control, ability to score goals, usually from cutting in from left flank, right footed, but left also good, good either flank and I felt he had potential as a number 10 off a big man. As for weaknesses, can be inconsistent, defensively reluctant to defend his fullback, can wonder out of position, and is physically weak, for a wide player his crossing is dogshite, and some games for no reason seems reluctant to take on his man. Honest opinion we've kept the better of the two and the fee is about right, but feels like a punt for the lad and you, I reckon he's a year short of being ready for the Prem, and think he may struggle to impose himself, needs to be drilled to do simple things consistently well. Opinion from a clued-up Norwich fan I've known for nearly 20 years. Not taking it as gospel but he knows his shit.

£2m? Farewell sweet Prince. Served his purpose well for minimal cost.
  18. He'll rightly start with a clean slate but he looked poor when I saw that fucking rabble last season. Hopefully Yedlin stays fit, it's a relatively small fee but feels like a bit of a waste. I hope I'm wrong obviously.
