Magical. Never taken to Hughes at all. Bitter, spikey little arsehole, fuck him.

Won away from home on a Monday too. Proper red letter day.

Jesus fucking Christ man. Monumental 3 points and another clean sheet.

Lots of things go into having a successful football club. You need an owner with ambition, you need an intelligent manager in the dugout with a vision and the ability to communicate it to a squad with talent, flair and a bit of nous. Rafa ticks one of those boxes and getting shot of him tight now is so ridiculously shortsighted it’s untrue. He’s the biggest tick we have in those 3 big boxes. He’s, arguably, the only tick we’ve had since Bobby left. A takeover should lead to the owner being replaced and a bit of substantial and sustained investment will lead to an improvement in the squad, it’s like dominoes at the minute, one is inextricably linked to the next. There’s no guarantees and it may go down the toilet but Newcastle fans advocating getting shot of Benitez need to be fucking shot down man. Results and performances have been poor, questionable decisions have been made regarding starting elevens and subs etc but it’s all pretty moot given the paucity of the squad he’s got to select from and it all leads back to one bloke. It’s Ashley who needs to leave, it’s Ashley who’s failed this club, it’s Ashley who has neglected to invest in the squad and it’s Ashley who has run this club to meet his own ends to such an extent that we’re all grateful for him allowing our club to spend its own money. He’s the poison, he’s the millstone. Ashley out. As soon as fuckng possible.

When you’ve got the best squad (comfortably) in the league it’s easy to be a bit of a cunt in interviews. If teams play an expansive game against them they’re cut to ribbons so it makes sense to try and provoke managers of poorer teams to have a go at them so they can just play through them.

Negative as fuck this from Palace. Going to tweet Gary Neville.

Maybe West Ham was his chance but couldn't run past someone without throwing his elbow in his face, got caught, got banned and thus f***ed it up completely by himself? Just a theory. Probably. It hasn't stopped the gormless twat Shelvey getting picked mind. fair point.

It was a dive and it wasn’t a penalty but if exactly the same incident had taken place in the other box and involved Sterling or Aguero then a penalty would have followed. 100% certain it would have been given the other way.

f*** off would you rather us lose 10-0 trying. That could send us down. Fuck off, I would, because to me playing football is about competing. I can accept any loss by any margin if we try, but we have not tried at all. It was embarrassing, a non league side wouldn’t sit 11 men behind the ball and literally have a handful of touches on the ball. We are Newcastle United at home and we should never ever play this way regardless of who we are playing or how shit we are. They are a great team, but they are not 11 tucking superman’s. We are basically forefeiting the game and that’s not on. And before anyone starts I accept how great they are, how shit they are and there is no one as big a fan of Rafa as me, but I will never accept this. This isn’t football, this is fucking surrender. What was the flag the other week, Newcastle United will never be defeated? Ha, fucking mockery of that particular banner. Amen to this its absolutely disgraceful we are treating this as if we are some 6th or 7th tier team in the FA Cup. Its absolutely fucking embarrassing to see 2 teams in the same division such poles apart. I don't give a shit if we get well beat as long as we try give it a go. This just highlights everything that is wrong with modern football I see we were 12/1 to win this tonight and that is disgraceful for a team in the same division at home tbh, it just shows the huge disparity between 6 teams in this league and the rest, its becoming fucking farcical to be honest Urgh, fucking minging. No doubt you’d be slagging the bloke off for being too naive if we had a right go at them and were 3 down in 20 minutes. Scandalous post tbh.

2.6 Got faith in the boss.

Don’t care what the cunts at Sky thought, he was pragmatic and set the team up the only way he could. Sky clearly wanted a massacre they could pour over for a few days, promote a bit of scandal regarding Rafa whilst wanking City off 24 hours a day on SSN. The only option tonight was to keep it as tight as possible for as long as possible. We did that and were still in the game in injury time. Every other team, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs et all have had a go at them and lost, normally by a few, we dug in and but for a better contact on Gayle’s forehead we’d have taken a point. The end would have justified the means. He got it right, with the resources available he’s done far better than Mourinho, Klopp, Wenger did. Proud of him, couldn’t give a fuck.

Not sure Saivet is up to playing 2 games in a few days with so little PL football under his belt. Sure he’ll be back again soon.
-
He's had that shirt in his wardrobe for 6 months

Can't pretend I'm too disappointed in all honesty. He's clearly got ability but it just never clicked for him here and he needs the move away as much as we need someone fast better than him. No axe to grind but I do think a lot of people took to his character and passion rather than his actual ability to be a PL striker. Ultimately I'm only really interested in his ability to score goals, he can thump his chest and throw elbows as much as he likes it was never going to win me over. Just score goals mate.
-
Eventually someone is going to get a good result against them, it's inevitable. Don't see why it can't be us, not because we're better than them because we're clearly light years behind them but most teams are. Great teams like this City one drop points to poorer teams like us, they can't win forever. Let's just have a go and roll the dice, see what happens. I expect a good hiding so anything other than that is a bonus. No pressure, no expectations so just get at them and see how it goes. Nowt to lose.
-
It'll be interesting to see how he approaches it. He's always been used to scrapping for survival, any means necessary, keep it tight and grind the results out to reach a certain number of points. Now he's going to have to switch things completely and look to attack, score and win as many games as possible. Complete flip of mentality for him, I'll be interested to see how he goes about it.
-
Wonder if Rafa has prioritised other fixtures and will keep a few key players back for the (far) more winnable games against Brighton and Stoke?
-
Quite happy if Pulis takes the Boro job because as dreadful as it would be to watch he's got the potential to organise a struggling PL side. Britton may turn out to be the next Guardiola but I'm thinking he's going to struggle if he gets it permanently.
-
Competition for places is never a bad thing. Him coming in from the deep freeze will have naturally got the attention of Hayden, Shelvey and Merino. From most accounts he went about his business rather well all things considered, those three will need to try and oust him now, up their game or they'll be the ones on the bench or left at home completely. Perform or you'll be replaced, it's harsh but it's helping the club.
-
Wonder who he threw under the bus to explain another defeat in his post match interview? Also hope west brom fans are liking his brand of attacking, front-foot football. Shame about the 'bloody noses' they're suffering for showing a bit of fret. The fucking cunt.

Getting relegated benefits absolutely no one connected with the club in any way shape or form. Current and prospective owners need to ensure the club does everything it possibly can to make sure we're still a top flight club come May. Ashley stands to lose millions if we go down again, the writing is plainly on the wall, Benitez can see it, Ashley can see it, Staveley can see it. Money needs to be spent asap or everyone's shit goes south. Spending little/nothing fucks everyone's shit up. I know we heard this in the summer but things have fundamentally changed on and off the park. It's now urgent and big money is at stake and if there's one thing that Ashley is concerned about its cold, hard cash.
-
They'll be absolutely made up with that. It's the best Christmas present they could possible have wished for.
-
I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but imagine thinking that the situation at the club would be made better by sacking Benitez? If fucking thick arseholes are entitled to their opinions then I suppose I'm also entitled to shout the fucking pricks down too. Absolute cunts man.
-
Correct, it's 18. A lot of them will be perfectly justified too btw, not whinging for the sake of it, just fucking fed up of the outright refusal to show opposition red cards for similar offences and incidents. Lots of ours are merited, those of the opposition are ignored and that's the infuriating thing. It's double standards.
