  1. is that him that caused us problems in the away game? Pretty sure he's at QPR now. Is he? Missed that one.
  2. is that him that caused us problems in the away game? He's the guy that got their goal. Big lad, about six and a half foot, he's no Andy Carroll like but I'd rather not have to worry about him getting on the end of crosses.
  3. Pleased Smith isn't starting for them. Type of player that often we just can't handle.
  4. To collect 7 points from Brighton A, Huddersfield A and Reading A in a week is pretty fucking good like. No one should be complaining at that haul.

I think they'll pick up a few wins and make a decent fist of staying up but they're trying to catch teams too far ahead of them and who are likely to continue picking up points to maintain the gap. They're not down yet but it will take a miraculous turnaround in form to get themselves out if it this year.

The body language of the hideous fuckers was awful in the last 10 mins. Heads down, mentally and physically shot to bits, pointing at each other, no shape, no energy, no drive, no leaders pulling people around and organising, no encouragement or guidance from the bench. They look fucking dreadful.
  7. Couple of huge performances away from home over the last 5days has sealed it. To go to Brighton, go behind and win was massive. To follow that up 4 days later by travelling to the other good side and comfortably containing them and knocking 3 past them in the process is what champions do. We needed to step up and we did so emphatically. We'll stroll it now. 10, Champions by a distance.
  8. It'll be interesting to see which Newcastle player the Sky commentators try and get into bother first.
  9. Sure we confirmed promotion on Easter Monday (home to Sheffield U) last time around. Different set of circumstances obviously.

Still maintain doing absolutely nothing to even acknowledge their relegation (if it happens) would anger and annoy them more than any stunt could.
  11. A lot of people, understandably, have assumed that huddersfield catching us means that we finish 3rd. If they catch us then they also overtake Brighton too and we're already a win better off than them. We just need to match either huddersfield or Brighton to go up.
  12. Avoid defeat on Saturday and we're up, win and we're champions. Honestly think Brighton will crumble a bit now. That defeat tonight will trigger some canny unpleasant memories from last year. They bottled it.
  13. Great finish. Put it exactly where the defender on the line couldn't get to it.
  14. Hate to say it but Brighton look fairly comfortable here. We've had much the better of it for the last 40 mins but I think that's partly because they've dropped off and are happy to let us have it knowing we're fairly toothless.
  15. Gormless cunt couldn't get the whistle to his mouth quick enough. Absolute pigshit decision.
  16. Dummett didn't have to make the header, Cotterill was never catching him and he has no excuse for not knowing what was going around him considering the ball had travelled almost half the length of the pitch. I think it was 50/50 as Darlow didn't have to rush out even though he probably though he would get the ball into row Z of the Milburn. Darlow must be a bit thick trying to come out for that after his air kick against Norwich. I can forgive Dummett as he can't see behind him. Yeah he could have let it run out of play but he played the header towards the area every single person would have expected Darlow to have been occupying. Darlow didn't have to do anything other than stand still in the centre of his 6 yard box and see what happened. He decided to rush out and it cost us another goal and a couple of points again, just like QPR. Its infuriating.
  17. Dummett played a cushioned header to where he expected the keeper to be. Darlow, able to see the entire picture, charged out and went to collect a ball he could see was being dealt with. It's all on Darlow again imo, similar scenario to QPR a few weeks ago.
  18. Just can't afford to start him any longer. Don't care how old he is or how much he cost or how many goals he's scored in Belgium, his misses are costing us points on a regular basis. He gets a chance and he either blows it because he can't be trusted to control himself or simply can't convert fairly easy chances. He's had his chance, I'd start Murphy. Mitrovic as third choice and named on the bench, only subbed on as a battering ram if we're chasing it. No time for sentiment, he's not been up to it.
