I like the lad's character and the fact he wants to play for Newcastle. I admire his enthusiasm even if it is a bit misplaced sometimes, st least he gives a shit. None of that, however, disguises the fact he's varied from unreliable to inconsistent to bang average. I know he's young, I know he's learning but there's only so long you can tolerate him missing big chances in games. He's a centre forward and he's poor in front of goal. I wanted it to work but it just hasn't. We need better and he needs a move.

Can understand why he's resting a few but that's a little too weak imo. We'll see, fingers crossed.

Why would Charlie Adam go there? The obvious reason is money but they're skint. He's not a bad player, probably on a decent wage and gets a game for an established PL club.

Stopped worrying about things out of my control a long time ago. Brighton will win plenty of games between now and May, fair play they're a very good unit.

Charnley is perfectly capable of getting deals done, we managed about 40 deals in the summer (in and out). If nothing is happening it's because the deal isn't right for the club, probably coming down to just cold, hard cash.
