  1. How the fans react goes both ways, it also sends a message to Charnley and Ashley. If he's asked for certain things to happen and they do it'll be fine. I think he knows he's popular and has won the fanbase over already but the changes need to happen to the club asap. If they drag their feet he'll be off.
  2. How the fans react isn't important, its how Charnley and Ashley react to what Benitez wants to happen over the next 2 weeks or so. They give him what he wants then we'll be fine, they fail to deliver and he's gone.
  3. Sounds like he's giving them a couple of weeks to put some things in place. If it happens I think he'll stay but if they even look like they're bottling it we'll not see him for dust.
  4. He's keeping his options open and I don't blame him n the slightest. It's a big decision for him.

    Alan Shearer

Yep, he's perfectly correct in all he says but why wasn't he suggesting a change in manager in November/December?
  6. Hugely cynical about the leaks so far. Hope they're true obviously but it would be just like NUFC to keep things as hopeful as possible until the final fan has left on Sunday to avoid any widespread unrest. Keep things cush until the season finishes, do what they planned to regardless and wait a few months for the anger to die down.

    Lee Charnley

By the time the final whistle goes on Sunday there's every chance the gap will be 7 points. If you're 7 points short after having spaffed 80 million then you've got to lose your job? Surely to God even Ashley will look at that and think "nah, that's fucking rank, off you pop".
  8. 46 games. Got to start early, fixtures out 22nd June.
  9. Can not hope he feels he's just starting to get his teeth int the job and wants to see it through. If he's thinking of his career then he'll surely move on but if he's caught the bug then hopefully he'll want to see it through. I'm more worried that our cunts will be looking to sever things tbh.
  10. Just gave up. Didn't fancy the battle so he simply stopped trying. Fuck him. Not the only one, but fuck him regardless.

Paul Loughlin (PL): "With 12 games to go, is the club in a crisis?" The club disagreed but understands its current league position and acknowledged it was very disappointing. The club explained that the squad's recent training camp in La Manga, Spain, was designed to help find solutions on the pitch in the final 12 games of the season. The camp was wholly focused on training and recovery, as well as a game. The club appreciates the work required to move up the table and remains confident that it will remain in the Premier League at the end of the season.

Lukaku has 25 goals this season but hasn't scored since the beginning of March...
  13. They've just spunked £80m+ up the wall in a desperate attempt to throw money at a problem only to make it worse. What are the chances that they've suddenly clicked on that the manager in charge of the squad is the most important person at a football club and that is the exact area to strengthen? Surely, after 10 fucking years, they can see the value of investing in a good manager being better than buying a few good players? Surely they see it now? If they don't then fuck the lot of them. Absolute retards who deserve everything they get.
  14. The amount of ill feeling between the Madrid sides combined with the sheer number of utter cunts that'll take the field makes this a recipe for disaster. Going to be brutal having to control Pepe, Marcelo, Godin etc in the biggest game of the season.
  15. Clattenburg has been given the CL final. UEFA were obviously impressed with his handling of the recent Chelsea-Spurs farce.

    Lee Charnley

If he doesn't lose his job in the next few weeks / days then he's never getting sacked ever. Appalling job done and no punishment for it = job for life.
  17. First mistake. Refuse point blank to engage with obvious idiots on facebook, why would you ffs?
  18. It still is for him and it's getting harder and harder to keep on saying 'no, we're not going out of protest'. He just wants to watch Newcastle...

    PROMOTIONOMETER

Bingo, this is the crux of it. As poor as we've become our squad contains at least as much talent as is in that line-up. Getting them organised and functioning is another matter entirely.

That's the standard of the best players in the entire division.
  21. I think a lot of genuine supporters have packed in over the last 2/3/4 years. What you have left are the die-hards, those who see the match as a social experience/badge or honour, those who go merely out of habit.. The danger is here, is that Mike Ashley has damaged Newcastle's future. You tell me why any kid would want to support NUFC at the moment, when they are a laughing joke nationally, and the club treats it's own supporters with complete contempt? My son, who's 8, has just discovered football. Has been a few times this year, and is wanting to get season tickets next year. I have to say, I'm a bit torn by it all. Snap. Really don't want to but fully aware that if I don't do something to get him bang into it he'll either give up on Newcastle and follow someone else or give up on football. It would go against everything I feel but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
  22. 15 games without a goal going back to the middle of January. Absolute luxury player perfectly capable of scoring goals but has been awol for months. Clearly talented but I'll not miss him in the slightest when he moves on this summer, he's looked like he's checked-out mentally for ages.
