  1. Should be an automatic red with a 3 game ban for simulation.
  2. Harsh on Mandzukic. Extremely underrated technical ability. And for whoever said Kroos is the best in that team, let me just say: He is underrated technically, but I said he's a level below most on that team, which he is. I don't think even think that's a negative thing to say. Most of the players for Bayern are technically fantastic. I really like Mandzukic. When the Ballon d'Or shortlist came out I felt he ought to be on it and got laughed off the forum for saying so. Can't remember a single one of his goals where I've thought "f*** me, not many strikers could have scored that". He just converts a lot of relatively simple chances, which isn't a dig necessarily - he's still got to finish them, but I've not seen him create many of his own goals or score goals I wouldn't expect him to score. Not sure that makes sense but I know what I mean. He's scored couple of excellent goals, a bicycle kick and a volley comes to mind. But that's not his biggest trait in my opinion. He just has excellent technical ability the same way Morientes had. It's not about dribbling, it's about knowing how the game is and knowing how to get into position and giving his team options up front. Which is why it's not meant as a dig at all. It's a skill in itself to be in the right place at the right time to convert a chance. It's just not a spectacular attribute to have. It's very useful, it's got him a load of goals which is commendable but he just doesn't stand out as a tremendous footballer to me.

Exactly, I want us win as many games as possible and the fate of Sunderland is not up to us. If they stay up - fine, if they go down - champion. I'm far more concerned with the problems at this club than worrying about that lot.
  5. He's got off lightly imo. 7 essentially meaningless matches to serve and back before the end of the season. Maybe we can appeal it and get it extended?

This. The sheer volume of absolute pigshit in the bottom half of the league this season is ridiculous. The 3 teams that go down this season will truly be some of the worst sides to have ever been relegated from the PL since football began in 1992. It'll be a 6-way shit-off for the remaining games and there's worse than them this season.
  7. What have I said that means that? My point is that many clubs prioritise the league over the cup, and many clubs find Europa a hassle they could do without. This is still a fact. BTW if it was up to me we would prioritise the FA Cup over everything. Is it just a coincidence then that (as per Wullie's post above) we have performed worse in the cups than all 19 other Premier League clubs over the last 7 seasons? Just some kind of weird science going against us. It's fucking disgusting. Even attempting to defend it is even worse.
  8. 'Muddle through'. Fuck me, we're a professional sports team. Just take the competition seriously and genuinely try to get as far as possible, especially this season. After whacking Stoke on Boxing Day we had 33 points on the board with another 20 league games to play, there's no excuse for having to muddle through past the worst team in the league at home. I left the ground that day almost convinced we deliberately threw it. To take the lead with less than half an hour to go and still lose stinks. The attitude and mentality was totally and utterly wrong and that comes from the manager.
  9. Don't know why some people bother.

Europa League has gone back to being proper shit again. Hours and days after they were frothing at the slit at the thought of playing in Europe too. Think that's a record tbf.
  11. Exxxxxxxactly. He's got no credentials whatsoever as a manager and he was fucking ordinary as a player. The Spurs players will look at that and be pissing themselves.
  12. Lyon score 2 in injury time to win in Bordeaux.
  13. He's an arrogant prick who's achieved the sum total of fuck all in his management career. Publicly questioning the desire of his squad will mean Spurs have a different manager for the start of next season and Tim 'I'll speak my facking mind pal' Sherwood will be out on his facking ear boy. He's a cunt.

...and yet both decisions went in favour of Man City. Who'd have thunk it?
  15. Wonder what Tiote is thinking right now about that?

"I'd like him to prove me wrong" is the key phrase there. Poyet has already decided he's shite, clearly a canny judge of a player.

Harsh (ish) words from Poyet: "Let's see how he reacts," said Poyet. "I look forward to seeing what type of character he is. I'd like him to prove me wrong. I'm not a charity, it's up to him. "With me, if you play well, you stay in the team. You can see he's got plenty of things to give, but it's about the consistency and doing it all the time. "To survive in the league you need a striker who will score double figures, if you don't you will struggle badly. It's different football to Holland.
  19. Wouldn't fit him. Shit fat bastard.

They certainly don't miss any opportunity to slap themselves on the back and say how fucking great they are do they? It's almost as if they need the constant reassurance of hearing how superb they are and if they need to congratulate themselves, as opposed to outsiders doing it, then so be it. They attend matches - they're superb, deserve a medal, few can match our support given the lack of success etc They sing a few songs - they make an atmosphere no-one can match They don't knock the living shit out of another set of fans - classy as fuck marra.
  21. Regular occurrence, eh? Managers often headbutt opposition players so there's loads of examples to compare it with.
  22. Went to court for assault. Shagged his team mates wife. Made a racist remark. Cheated on his wife. Being black. I'm not talking about being THE captain either. I meant the decision to choose Owen over Campbell when I posted it really but that's a good point.
