Agree. I reckon we should keep him as he's doing such a mint job. Let's not replace him, his team is doing well so let's give him more time to move the club forward. Good post mate mate.
  2. .....but he deserves the chance to turn it around... 10 wins in 51. Like fuck does he. This isn't a blip, this isn't a run of poor luck it's chronic, sustained mismanagement of his football team. He's responsible for results and performance and both have been fucking dreadful for months on end. I can guarantee that some will point to the league table and say we're comfortable in 10th and continue to make excuses for him though. Just a 'wonder strike', got caught on the break, didn't deserve to lose etc. Another shockingly bad performance when it mattered most. But let's keep him as we may appoint someone a bit worse. Magic. Fucking sick.
  3. Fucking petty wankers. Time for the knives to come out and get rid of this prick for good. 'something happened and you reported it - you're banned'. What a set of cunts, man.

I don't want him sacked I want him thrown in front of a fucking train.
  5. Come on Cisse. You'll get a chance and you need to fucking bury it.
  6. This is fucking awful like. There's no cutting edge to our play whatsoever, we're just passing it in front of them without really hurting them. They look quite comfortable tbh and now they've got the goal they have no reason to change anything. There's no urgency, and a lack of space and options because the game is being played in such a small area. That early goal suited them down to the ground perfectly.
  7. 3 v 2 in the middle for us should mean we can get hold of it and control things a bit better. Need Remy and Ben Arfa to keep their wide midfielders occupied to stop the supply.
  8. Give me an empty room, Owen and a mell hammer and I'd be a happy man for a couple of days. He's a cunt.
  9. Hit them hard, hit them early, get in front and fucking well stay there. If the early chance we create goes in then we should win. You just never know on derby day though.
  10. You going then? Nope. Couldn't/wouldn't be able to sit there on my hands in amongst them. Seeing us score would be fine, I could just sit tight I reckon. Having to jump up and pretend if/when they scored would be my undoing, just couldn't do it. It's just not a natural way to watch a game of football. Sounds like there will be quite a few tickets getting passed around though and some will undoubtedly fall into the hands of Newcastle fans in home area. Rather them than me tbh.
  11. Got offered a free ticket for the game at work today, no strings just 'giz a shout if you want one' type of thing. By all accounts they couldn't even give them away to the kids and there was a load spare after. Christ knows how many they sent across.

First time in months that we looked like a proper organised, cohesive unit. We had a gameplan, we had pace and movement and looked (largely) composed at the back. Even if that Suarez free-kick had gone in then my opinion on what I saw in the preceding 90 minutes wouldn't have changed. I don't expect to win every week, I don't expect to rattle good teams each week but I do expect certain things such as effort, organisation and discernible tactics and we got that today for the full 90. The game changed on the pen and we adapted our tactics accordingly while still posing a threat to them. Well done to the boss and the players, more of that please.

"We can't compete." How often have we heard that?

Aye, can't remember the exact words he used but I did shout "did we fuck, you lying cunt!" at the TV when he was talking about that Liverpool match. He did say a few things that made sense and sounded reasonable at times but there was so much bullshit in there too. I've become desensitised to it to a large extent. I just automatically expect a steady stream of pigshit from him and have done for a long time.

This is pretty much where I'm at too.

What did he say? Ryan Taylor is involved in scouting the opposition and feeding directly to the players.

He's actually got a point though. Would he be ahead of Ben Arfa or Remy? Wasn't having a pop at him mate just passing it on. Had we taken him on loan and started him ahead of those 2 then there would have been hell on!

Also mentioned that we had a look at Andros Townsend this summer but weren't sure if he was better than what we already had.
  20. They'll be tired at the weekend though. You just watch.
  21. If we played Bayern, and Bayern needed to win 11-0 to win the league or something daft like that, I reckon they could like.
  22. 4 wins in 31 unless they pull it round.
  23. Which happen week in and week out... No they don't. a lot of the goals we concede appear to be down to this, How many times have people slagged off various players already? Debuchy, Santon, Colo and & Mbiwa last night. We must have some of the most error prone defenders in the league. Well, there wouldn't be many mistakes in football if players didn't make mistakes. Our players aren't perfect, they make mistakes, as does every other defender. When they do, they deserve criticism, and when it happens often, they need dropping or replacing. I'm not denying defensive organisation is part of the problem (our high number of goals conceeded since the start of last season), but there's more to it than that, such as seasoned professionals not even challenging for a bouncing goal kick.. It appears their is a lack of ownership being taken by everyone in the team. But Pardew is the one selecting the players, he's the one coaching them day in and day out. No one should have a clearer idea of who is good at what. Every single player we've bought has regressed under him. Pardew must go, I don't need convincing about that. It just bugs me people will blindly point at him and let Colo off the hook for schoolboy errors the latter (and others) made.. But there's no solution to that other than getting shot of the manager is there? Yes we can buy four centre halves in January, two new full backs, along with a new midfield and three new forward players (arf!) but is anyone convinced that would solve the problem? I'd put heavy wedge on the new players making exactly the same cock-ups a year down the line. Sick of reading the same constant cycle of criticism, which comes up with the valuable insight that all the players in the entire squad are shit (apart from the one who's only been here a month, funny that) and that what we really need in the team right now is the ones who've been out of the team for a while because I've forgotten how shit they are. I don't think it really needs pointing out that the players individually and as a team have been dreadful for over a year. Pointing out individual errors isn't going to solve the problem, and going off the evidence of last January, nor is replacing the players. So what's the solution? There's only one. This needs to be fucking framed.
