Imagine that home Argie kit with black instead of sky blue. That's what our shirt could have been like. Fucking criminal. Haven't seen a nicer kit for a long time, having one of them.

Not surprised they resort to that like. There team is weak as f*** in comparison to years gone by. Never want to see it but I've often wondered how they'd do in a 38 game Premiership season. I honestly think they'd struggle to stay up. they would struggle with their current team, but there is an argument that says that they would have loads coming in from world wide appeal and sponsorship to be able to spend enough to compete. can't see why we should let them in mind, may aswell let ajax and anderlecht in aswell. Begs the question as to why they're on the bones of their arse financially now though? They're still the same club. If they've got worldwide appeal then where's the cash? Or do you mean that playing in the Premier League raise their profile enough to compete? yes. there are times they aren't selling out their ground now, put them in the prem and they will sell out with raised prices, up their sponsorship deals and their money from abroad would go up due to more knackers wanting the latest gear. Gotcha.

Really don't like Rangers. 3 reds and about another 6 booked. Pricks.

It was in the run-up to France '98 and Shearer (allegedly) refused to play for England in the World Cup if the FA did him for it. Pretty shocking really.

They'll probably just fucking buy it.

it's crap if you compare it with his previous spell at Liverpool and Newcastle where he took over successful teams and guided them slowly downwards after starting well with teams other managers had built. Dalglish's Liverpool were a fantastic team. In fact a lot of Liverpool supporters claim he gave them their greatest ever team. That was with the players he bought as well. They were quality but it does help when you inherit one of the best squads in Europe from Fagan (and Paisley). It's a nice foundation to build on. He did build his own side though...the side he assembled for the 87-88 season was probably the best club side I've seen.Superb to watch too.Though I suppose it was easy to go after the likes of Pedro and Barnes. You've got to keep it going but taking over a squad like that with so many good players already at the club makes it much easier. It's too easy to keep most of the squad there and add (obvious) good players to it. It's not a miracle he's performed. He's used his common sense and eyes. It doesn't deserve that much praise tbh.

Cahill out for 3 weeks (if not already mentioned) At this rate Moyes will be struggling to name a team by midnight.

PREMIERSHIP RACE BLOWN OPEN!!!!!! Bookies: Arsenal in from 7/4 all the way down to 6/4.

And they'll be saying exactly the same things. All clubs lose games they should win. The teams we think we should be above will have lost games they should have picked up points in. It's a pointless exercise tbh.
-
We've picked up points in 18 of the 28 games we've played so far. I'd have settled for that in July tbh. Where we won them and against whom is pretty much irrelevant as taking 4 points from Arsenal cancels out taking 1 only point from Blackburn etc. We are where we are - 9th. That's pretty fucking good for a newly promoted team.

Can't see this ending 11 v 11. Someone's walking.

Yeah, simply because it was Owen. Disregarding totally that the man is a dick, that he would suck the coffin completely dry and that he's no better than the weakest link. Huh? coffers. I think.

Been coming like. Have looked by far the more incisive and inventive of the 2.

He'll rifle one in from 25 yards.

The same lot that booed Robert off, no doubt. ...and gave Gerrard a standing ovation a couple of years ago as he trotted off. To be fair that was the best individual performance I've seen at St. James' along with Scholes' in 02/03. The Real Madrid fans gave Ronaldinho a standing ovation when he tore them apart... With all due respect I don't give a fuck. I just think it's inherently wrong to applaud the cunt off irrespective of how he's played. Lampard getting a round of applause when he went over to take a corner was just as bad. I know it's bitter as fuck too.

Who was it who mentioned that if a ref comes out and admits he got it wrong he automatically gets demoted for a game? Or did I just make that up? Had it been McArthur who smashed his elbow into Rooney's head the action would have been taken. He's got away with it big time.

Complete storm in a teacup. He's given his opinion which may, or may not, turn out to be correct. That's it. Nothing to get too het up about in the slightest.
-
eh It's just a list. 6 in the CL. more than 6 in the European Cup. --- Three (AFC as follow on Wimbledon) of the clubs are now in the conference FFS. If you didn't laugh you'd cry. It means nothing. That was my point. There's some great clubs on there and some awful ones too. Our lack of silverware isn't nice but seeing us play Champions League stuff was good. Swings and roundabouts.
-
How many of that list have played in the Champions League? Just out of interest like? Are Leicester a bigger and better club than us because they've won 3 League Cups? It's horse shit.
-
Routledge not being here is ridiculous. He would have played a big part for us this last month had he still been here. That's still a barmy decision.
-
Probably more to do with the fee we eventually get for him. If he helps to get Forest up then his 'worth' will be reasonably high. Had he stayed here then no-one would have given a bucket of piss for him. Him going out puts him in the shop window. Hopefully some dat t*** will be daft enough to give us a million for him. Like Ameobi at Stoke? Similar. If he's a success then he'll probably leave for a decent fee. If he flops then we've lost very little.
