Awful game to sit through but the result was always going to be the important thing tonight. Nolan did fuck all. Literally. Smith and Carroll were both very poor and Lovenkrands was barely noticeable on the pitch. On the up side, the new lads looked very solid. Williamson did well and Kadar did all that was asked of him. Hope Enrique just felt a twinge and came off before it got worse because we need him. Him going off shifted the momentum of the game. We could do with Ryan Taylor ans Simpson back because I don't want to see Pancrate playing RB again. Far too scary.

Even if things go disasterously wrong we'll finish no lower than 3rd. Personally, I still think we'll win the league but I definitely think we'll go up automatically. No-one would have even dreamt about having an 8 point cushion from 3rd place with only 60 points left to play for. Can anyone genuinely see West Brom getting 9 more points than us for the rest of the season? Nor can I. It's in our hands.

The gap between us and 3rd is the only one that has, and will, matter as the season goes on. If Forest overtake us then they overtake us but we've got to keep that cushion between us and whoever is 3rd.

Either Guthrie at RB and Pancrate at RW or keep everyone else the same and play Tavernier at RB. Not ideal either way but when the squad is anorexic then needs must.
