I know the exact goal you mean. 2 fantastic goals tbh.
-
The lad's just shit. He's woefully out of his depth and shouldn't wear the shirt again. That said, it's not his fault he keeps on getting his contract renewed. He must feel like he's won the fucking lottery every twatting day.
-
They should beat us (looking at it impartially) but I think we can go there and get a point. I'd certainly settle for another scrappy 1-1 like today.
-
We got one of the points away from home I think we needed to get if we were going to catch the stragglers. We still need to take at least 7 points from the 3 home games and a point from Spurs and/or Villa will see us safe. I'll stay a 5 as we're still very much in the shit but battling back to nick a point today is massive. The light at the end of the tunnel is just that little bit brighter.
-
I hope they kick the living piss out of each other. Two truly detestable clubs.
-
I reckon Sunderland will get another 5 points, maybe 6. If we win our 3 home games and pick up a point at Stoke or Spurs I think we'll be ok.
-
Looks shopped tbh. The new England kit with thin lines drawn on and the badges replaced methinks.
-
Well, well, well. It's all coming together.
-
Shearer coming in must mean we're more likely to pick up more points than we otherwise would have so I'll drop from a 5 to a 3. We're still very much in the shit but at least we'll have a boost for the run-in.
-
That'll do me. Positive action to hopefully drag us out of the shit in the nick of time.
-
Only seen it on the umbro website but it would look much better with navy blue shorts. Hate seeing the all white kit.

hadn't considered that, but wouldn't surprise me at all. The lad's all heart and no head sadly He looked pretty badly injured initially when he went down. Generally players know when they're unable to continue and most just accept it and signal to the bench to be subbed. Not sure if Taylor thought he was strong enough to run it off but I do know that we conceded whilst he was getting his ankle strapped on the sidelines. When he did come back on he couldn't even jog and lasted a few seconds before he was subbed. By then the damage as already done.
-
If Taylor insisted on coming back on despite being his ankle being fucked then he needs a rocket. If he knew he was fucked then he should have said so straight away and he could have been subbed and maybe we wouldn't have conceded that killer 2nd. At least Taylor got his round of applause when he eventually went off though. That's the main thing.

It really is on the proverbial 'knife-edge'. I always thought we'd pull a few results out of the bag to save us but I can't see it happening. I've shifted from a stubborn 1 to a more realistic 5 in the last few days. We've still got enough about us to grind out 5 good results to stay up but, for the first time this season, I'm really, genuinely, honestly thinking we could well go down.

2-2. We'll score first.

Man U vs Liverpool in the final in Rome. You'll see the smoke for miles.

Is it time for alcohol laws in football stadia to be relaxed ?

Bluf just ignores the stewards and sneaks his pint to his seat and hides it. -
What a stupid thread.

If people want to drink constantly throughout the game then all they need to do is go down to the concourse and watch the match on a monitor. Sort of defeats the purpose of actually buying a season ticket but that's their decision I suppose... Would probably cause more problems during a game but it's hardly a major issue either way. -
At this stage in the season you can forget about formations and tactics - it generally comes down to bottle, experience and that extra edge up front. Get some bodies back and we should have more than enough for Hull. Owen being on the bench will scare them and it's also a massive game for them too. Score first and I fancy us to nick it and push on. Fall behind and I fear we'll crumble. Time for certain players to step up and earn their coin. Three points are there for us but we'll have to play well.
-
It's the British media doing what they do best - making something out of nothing. Hope the lad tortures the fuckers tomorrow too.
-
Still think we'll stay up but it's more out of gut instinct now. It'll definitely go all the way into the last games though. If the worst comes to the worst and we do go down then we'll deserve to be relegated. Come May, the 3 worst teams in the league will go down and if we're one of them then we can have no complaints. We've thrown points away all season and it might just come back to bite us on the arse. Obviously we all hope it doesn't happen but if it does we'll have to take it on the chin and accept a season or 2 re-building and getting back up. We've not got any divine right to be in the Premier League, no-one has.

Best one for a while but it's still not quite 'spot on'. The stripes on the sleeves should be black and the collar should be white. If I'm being picky.
-
Is that 4 players he's now done this season?

I hate teams like Arsenal having streams of 0-0 games just prior to meeting us. If any team needs to break a duck, just wait until the Toon come along - look at Bolton and their clean sheet record before today. Fulham is in no way an easy game the way they are playing. Agree with most of that but Fulham usually have a poor dip in form towards the end of the season. They'll have little to play for either way and if we're up for it I think they'll roll over. They're playing well now but I don't think they will be in April/May. Or maybe I'm trying too hard to convince myself...
