I was referring to the league tbh. Man U PL finishes since 2017 are 6th, 2nd, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 6th and probably 3rd again this year. It's pretty consistent and relatively unspectacular. It was a direct comparison to the number of places we've moved up the league since January 22.

They've largely stood still while we've leapfrogged a dozen or more teams. Not how much you spend it's how you spend it. Still maintain Ashworth, Howe and Eales are our 3 best signings we've made since the takeover

What Howe's done is phenomenal. You can literally see the progress we've made over the last 18 months and we're now a legit top team. We're not perfect and we'll get better but that's fucking astonishing. To take the rabble he inherited from Bruce to CL football in 18 months is breath-taking. I accept we've spent a decent bit of cash recently but that doesn't guarantee anything at all, plenty of teams have thrown £200m at it and failed. We've turned it around and barged in on the accepted 6, we're there now and we deserve to be. We're now at the table and we'll be pretty fucking hard to shift now.
