Even if he has been useless for the last 2 years according to some people, but finally showing some glimpses he has a chance of being a good squad player you still don't give him the benefit of the doubt. As long as he doesn't command hige wage then would be a brilliant box to box midfielder he will always get you goals and i've always liked him for some reason. Competition for Barton and can also operate on both wings so would be very useful in a 4-5-1 formation.
