we spent money on duff,so what,we also had money to spend on a defender(didn't we have a bid turned down for zat knight).roeders whole transfer policy has been if he cant get the player he wants he wont buy for the sake of it. you are making it sound like we didn't buy a defender BECAUSE we bought duff, which in my understanding wasn't the case.
-
no i'm not,there are teams whose results i'll look out for(lincoln city,sheff wed,st pauli)but it's out of intrest,not "care" and i could in no way,say i "support them"

I don't like it and think it has been abused and needs changing. isn't it farcical that a club can buy a player, loan him out straight away for a full season(i'm sure the system was brought in so clubs could have a good look at a player, shouldn't take a season),then again so the player plays more games for others than he does for the club that owns him.if they don't want him sell him. I understand that it is good for youngsters to get experience therefore i would keep the loan system for under 21's if they are loaned "down" the leagues. thoughts ?

damn right it's not like cheating on your wife...it's serious. it's not a concious decision i've made, i just don't "care" about other teams.
-
i know there used to be a rule about how many loanees you could have per season, think it still applies.

So, you're foreign to Newcastle or Newcastle is foreign to you? I guess, since I was born in the Toon but moved to Canada at a young age and was raised here, that Newcastle are my "Top Foreign Club". If you want to get into logistics. eh ? it's got nothing to do with foreign or otherwise.i acn only support one club. as for those abovethey are doing what they despise others doing over here,ie supporting the big clubs because they are more likely to win. Yeah, sure. MTK, Sporting and Hertha win everything. see "vast majority" and "nearly all"

vast majority a bunch of fucking glory hunters ,nearly all supporting top teams in their countries. there is one team, that is Newcastle United

O'Neill's record is no better than Souness, tbh. True but his list of skills outnumber Souness' skills by far, and this for me, not success or the CV, is the best way to judge a manager - on their skill set. class coach, just class, slipping in some made up rubbish and seeing if anyone realises.
-
aye, pleased he never really had an important decision to make.

Emre started upfront after Dyer went off, or 'off the striker', whatever. But then after about 5 minutes CNZ went up top Emre was definitely playing off Martins for a bit, but I couldn't really see where Zog was supposed to be playing. It was definitely in CM at first and he drifted forward later on, but I don't think even he knew where he should've been. He didn't help Martins out much. from where i was sat it looked like emre made the change to put n'zog up and drop himself back into midfield. pretty good display but lacking a cutting edge, milner and butt top men, closely followed by taylor and carr then solano.

Newcastle submit £300m plans to develop SJP - Official
madras replied to kirkwdavis2001's topic in Football
anyone mentioned how strange it is that a board so divided, major shareholders want out etc can announce a £300mill building exercise.surely those shareholders desperate to get out wouldn't take on such an undertaking. -
could it be he was asked at the clubs "day before match " press conference.if he'd said "it's got nowt to do with me really" he'd still get slagged off. is there a growing "let's slag off roeder whichever way he answers" agenda ?
-
anyone in milan for our game will know the way the local plod react to the behaviour of the home fans.strangly though for all the bravado in the stadium there was no sign of them outside by the time we got out.......wonder why. best coppers abroad were in metz

i've been in drinkeries when both have been there.dyer was quiet and seemed embarassed that people were staring etc.woodgate was quiet then behaved like a twat as the drinks went down. not just a one off as i've seen it a couple of times
-
better off going with oddschecker, then checking best odds with them, then joining the best one,i'm registered with quite a few now so i can pick who gives the best odds.
-
why do you only count summer spending ? (woodgate.boumsong incoming) edit...read the entire post first man madras you mong madras replies ...aye so i jumped in too early, however he should realise big turnover doesn't mean we have lots to spend

true but a twat and thoroughly dislikable person after a drink, quite shy sober but a twatful person when in sniffing distance of the barmaids apron.
-
paul sweeney........utter shit with psychopathic tendancies, some liked him cos he gave 100%,100% of shit is still shit. albert luque..........i'm sure no explaination is necessary andy cole........fantastic player but someone it is very hard to like.

how was it embarrassing ? his agent admitted he nearly came here and i think he says in his autobiog that if the mancs hadn't come on for him he would probably have gone to newcastle
-
wasn't the owen bid just a rouse to get people to buy season tickets,as was the rooney bid,all be it a couple of weeks after the season started.
-
for many the tipping point for souness was the wigan reserves game in league cup,was today the next tipping point ?
-
shit,we are making a habit of this.
