You clearly have been wise enough to avoid the Luque thread for a while.... i've only posted in there once, just so i could say i had,it's the nufc chat version of game machine threads or US tele programme threads.boring and for the kids. you don't mean to say it's STILL going .......... and this one is it's little brother, the arguments cover 1 page, then repeat ad infinitum

He may not be now, given his problems. But when he was here and Bridge was at Ston he certainly was no worse than Bridge. doesn't matter, Bridge is ten times the player Bernard has ever been, and an unsubstantiated rumour goes here. Bollocks Well, you've convinced me. but it was a stupid quote, bernard of his newcastle good times was as good as i've seen bridge play,to try and make out that bridge is soooo much better than bernard was is silly. Some kind of beyond-one-word opinion would be nice, that's all. we've all done it (except HTT)

Duff and Zoggy both fit and you play Milner wide left, brave very brave. however he has been our least worst left sided option this season........but i wouldn't!
-
the only possible change is likely to be dyer up front/in the hole with milner on the right, bringing emre on as needs be. keep it as it was for me......i'll bet no other team could put 4 possible left sided attacking minded players on the bench(emre,n'zog,o'brien and erm......luque)

But Bernard needs more time to prove his fitness though? OK Bernard was never injured when we had him here the first time, he played with passion and always gave his all. I think that should give him a shot at proving he can get and stay fit. Babayaro has been a joke and I think he has proven many times he could not care less about playing for us. too right, especially after his brother died

he hasn't any more idea than you Although there is a Sheik who was very disappointed to not get his own way and buy Liverpool. The amortisation does have limitations (and can be hard to understand/explain) but to not include player transfer costs just doesn't make sense. It can lead to the daftness of (as an example) "We broke even this year, we are all very proud with that. We have also spent £20m in the transfer market, which has taken our financial performance down to a £20m loss." but any expenditure like that HAS to be dislosed one way or another and even you're little quoted synopsis above still gives those details.the amortisation is the bit i was getting at and i'm sure you'll agree it is a very grey area which can vastly alter the net asset value ..ie ballack, transfer fee £0...he would not have any asset value under that system. as for the sheik...it was another terry mac wind up

"honest nance,i wouldn't shag any birds from the FA.......faria alam, never heard of her"

isn't derek bell just in temporary charge of gateshead ?

a quick word on macbeth's finances site...... amotisation of players,re assets. i'm told quite a few listed football clubs leave the amortisation of players out the books as in reality, due to the unique nature of the business, subjective and the example of stagecoach is misleading(ie they know the bus will depreceate in value),where as for example this version of amortisation would value shay given at under £1million for these purposes. macbeth is very correct on the dividends stance, they were high at a time when they shouldn't have been. has macbeth got any answers or names as to who would like to takeover ?

to be fair to be frank or tits bums fannies ?

go to america and check through the channels. c*** could stand for either c*** or c*** one is associated with blood, the other is leg crossingingly scary.
-
the game down there fair enough, they dominated and could count themselves unlucky, the game up here was as 3-1 as a 3-1 game could ever be,if you follow.
-
not saying much Spurs were definitely a better team than us. Their defense, Dawson and Robinson in particular, let them down massively however. the game up here ? you been out tonight ?

Doesn't even rythme tbh. artistic license

we are the geordies, the geordie boo boys, oh we are fickle, when things go bad, we are the ficklest football supporters, who regularly boo our own team.

Other way round. Winners of the Champions League automatically qualify. UEFA Cup winners do not. Surley when they changed the rule for the scouse then changed it for the UEFA cup? How can the winner of the CL automatically qualify but not the winners of the UEFA cup? Could complain like the scouse did if we win it and thats the case. do we have that victim mentality to go about it like the scousers though ?
