http://i64.tinypic.com/2eutk7b.png agreed The second one definitely. The third i was directly in line with and it was a fantastic ball in that looks so easy but beats most keepers. Easier than it looks.

Didn't here much rallying the troops. Heard loads of Rafa stuff.

Thanks. That would seem more realistic as to how much we could spend. As ever, if you have the money there will be ways round it. Not assuming we'll have that sort of money btw.

£333,333,334 0n 3rd December. In homage to Supermacs transfer fee to Arsenal.

Technically I don't think NUFC have issued anything to the press to say they have received/knocked back any bids, so we should just treat it all as just rubbish as the press are crap ? Don't think there's been anything official frpm PCP either so bugger! Nothing from either party so absolutely nothing is happening ?
-
Just looking at the PCP set up. They provide " investment banking and financial advisory services". Has anyone got a clue which of the two they are doing as regards us ?
-
Cabaye, Enrique, Given, Bassong, Sissoko......and a good few more.

Not necessarily. Looking at the last couple of seasons the points tallies for teams just outside the relegation zone after 18 games are broadly similar to this year. Edit: Last 4 seasons for example 21st place has always been on 18 points at this point. Basically it's only Birmingham who are keeping them in touching distance, and they have a game in hand. Tomorrow at Boro.

Aye, that'll help things move along nicely. Thought that was why the £300million was leaked to get the supporters on Ashleys back. The leak came from Ashley’s camp. TBH both camps are so close its all a bit inbred. Never heard that mind. Not saying they didn't but I thought we didn't know which side leaked.
-
If those reports are true I'd bet Ashley would have snapped their hands off at 350mill in instalments but no clauses.
-
To be fair it does say he turned it down because of the relegation clause.
-
Seen that also. Even City cant achieve that target. So im guessing thats bullshit. If it is in there its more of a laugh than the relegation one. Strange they kept it so low. Could easy have went up to 7 trillion if we were to win the Champs league for what difference it would make.
-
There will be details and reasoning to such clauses to which we aren't privvy to. It does seem strange at first glance but not if it's to mitigate against points deduction or if it drags on beyond January and any new owners ability to affect things through the transfer window diminishes.
-
Presumably that would only be in the event of the sale not going through before January? I don't see how they could come in before then, invest in the team and then penalise Ashley for us getting relegated. Points deduction ?
-
How come ? She's been involved in the sale of one club and never ran one, Ashley has owned one for years
-
Of course they are. I'm surprised some are thinking the debt may be outside the price.
-
There's a scary third option. He's dangling us out there at a higher than market price in the hope of making a killing, if no-one bites, so be it, he carries on as we are.
-
If theres no movement by Saturday there'll be a strange atmosphere for the Watford game. The pub rumour mill should be entertaining though.
-
I know the way buying and selling works with low initial offers and higher than value asking prices but even given that, it seems like a huge gap between the two parties that even negotiation or compromise may not cover. Still think it'll happen but less confident than when we were at NDA/due dilligence stage.
-
In the premier league ? I'd back against you,
-
WBA next. Given 3 defeats off the bounce and Chelsea on the horizon, wins against Watford and WBA would be very welcome.
-
Given 3 defeats off the bounce, Chelsea after these, a win would be very welcome.

They've got what they dreamed of at the start of the season. A team in red and white stripes in the promotion places and records being set at the stadium of light. Can't please everyone
-
Oh and I reckon they probably wanted accounts "back to 1990" as opposed to "the last 27 years"
-
27 is actually a bit of an iconic number for NUFC.
