Great result. Sounded deserved (radio again) could only herar our fans again. How did Perez actually play ? HE did play well up front in the premiership last time round and Murphy sounds like he's really growing into a player. Think I'd rather we had Swansea away again rather than at home as we do look so much better away now against the teams down there with us.

i rate him but I don't think his style of play is suitede to the higher levels (ie where we aspire to be).

Just think he could have been used better than he has been and when he has played we've rarely tried to play a game to suit him (except when he cam on for the Norwich comeback).

I mean we were already f***ing 3-1 down in that Benfica game So that just shows we had nothing to lose tonight. We couldn't afford to concede again to Benfica and had to turn it into a sprint. Tonight it was horrible to watch that first half and it was clear that we were going to concede and if it went 2-0 it was game over. I'm just not comfortable turning up to watch my team not try and win a match. They did, but against a team like Man City at the minute you can't go toe to toe. Tactics were to stay in it then go for it at the end, the Benfica analogy is cack and doesn't work as they are completely different situations.
