He'll think Ben Arthur is one of our only British players.

Pardew walks or gets the boot and Kinnear pops his cloggs, it could easily happen. Fuck it, how many seats are in Ashley's helicopter?

They're about to. What I was thinking. Surely taking this isn't going to be good for his health? He's too stupid and arrogant to get stressed. He was effortlessly guiding us to success before his heart attack. Criticism doesn't mean he's doing poorly, it's just journalists being cunts. His heart's at risk from steak bakes, not worrying about how the teams doing or lying awake worrying about tactics. The occasional wander to the training ground to show his face will probably do him good.
-
Yeah, would have definitely kept us up, he reckoned.

Might as well present our new players to Prince Phillip. "Here's our director of football, Joe" "Is this the new lad? At least this one's not a fuckin kraut, eh? Look's like a bit of a fuckin' poofta though, didn't wear pink boots in my fucking day. "

Nile Ranger as Youth Ambassador, Michael Owen as fan's representative and Maggie Thatcher as posthumous Eternal Club President, like Kim il-Sing.

We can only hope it's some kind of money laundering scheme to run cash through the books and out of the club and he's not really going to do anything.

Rupert Murdoch plans the 'Formula 1' of football
BlueStar replied to Thomson Mouse's topic in Football
He wants it to be like F1, the sport where they manage to make racing turbo charged cars at 200mph the most boring spectacle since Superman Returns? -
Good article in the mag about these 'iconic gates' http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/exclusive-newcastle-united-if-you-know-your-history/

There's quite a difference between Bank Lending and Pay Day Loans. Not according to Sharia law which doesn't allow profit on loans. Sunday Sun says "Religious and moral grounds", which seems perfectly reasonable to me. A Catholic player might have a problem being sponsored by an abortion provider but let it slide if they were sponsored by Boots, even though they sell condoms. I'm not seeing this whole 'gotcha' stuff about the fact he wore a Virgin Money top. People pointed out issues like this potentially arising due to having a morally repugnant sponsor when the deal was struck and it was written off as scaremongering.
-
Wonga aren't really comparable to just any other bank, in many countries their business model is illegal and would get them locked up as loan sharks.
-
What a shit kit, where's the randomly coloured piping? Where's the white gap for the sponsor to go in? How come the cuffs are the same colour all the way around? Why are the stripes all the same size and shape, where are the spikes and haphazard triangles? Is there even the club name on the back of the collar? How will I know which team I support?

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143
BlueStar replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
OK, where the fuck to start with this. I'll leave the obvious, the blue stripe nonsense, the blackboard on the back, the cup-cake decoration crest, that's all a given. What are those vampire fangs on the neck supposed to be? What are those triangles pointing in at the waist, a printing error? How come the black stipe on the outside of the sleeve goes all the way to the bottom, but the black stripe on the inside stops at the cuff? In fact, what the fuck is going on with those franken-cuffs in general, it looks like two kits have been sewn together. Were the blue stripes down the side drawn free-hand with an icing gun? Is that the Spiderman/PlayStation font they've used for NUFC on the back? -
The rules remind me of one of those puzzles where you've got to get wolves and sheep across a river on a raft. "No, sorry, you left Gazza and Ketsbia alone together in 2013 while you went back for 1997 Shearer and when you returned the resulting drink and violence binge had levelled the city. Play again Y/N?"
-
Actually think it'll be the other way "We don't deserve him because the club owners didn't back him enough, the Premier League, English fans and the FA forced him out, England doesn't deserve him"

I like it when snow falls off the roof and hits a steward.

Dunno if it's even worth updating a thread title for something from goal.com, but their article is the current story on this, with it being referenced by David Gold.
