You're wrapped around the axle on a specific interpretation of "prepare" here man. Is it more palatable for you if I switch that to "plan"? You can have a plan that's not good (yes, even Eddie Howe can). You can also not have a good plan B. And yes, you can have a good or great plan but lack the quality to implement it. To a degree all 3 were true today. You favor the 3rd option, I favor the first. We did not appear to go in with a specific plan to break them down, nor figure one out during the 90 minutes when whatever we did prepare didn't really work. Also our bench is shit.

I'm disappointed but i'm not on team #sackEddie or anything, not by a long shot. I simply feel we could have done better with what we had (the players) and when you feel that way you look at the lot setting up the players with a game plan and ask questions there.

Played "our game" today - tons of possession but ... absolutely no idea how to break them down. Yes our lot is average and we miss Wilson and ASM, sure. But AFCB are no great shakes either and for me we had enough in the starting XI. imo Eddie & co fumbled the bag a bit here. gotta prepare better against teams that will do this at home.

i'm down to try anything to break up the pointlessness (in general - there are the odd years with exceptions) of the last 6 or so weeks for the majority of the league where 1st-6th is settled, 7th-15th aren't shuffling much, 16th-18th are the only ones really left duking it out, and 19th and 20th are stone dead. obviously every team will tell you they go out to win every game, if not for european placement or survival then pride, but no one here can, with a straight face, look me in the eye and tell me a good chunk of the league doesn't coast into summer every year.
