This is his first bad half in ages, give it a break man.
-
What a ball that is by Palmer, Tino makes one wrong move and is out of it.
-
Weaker foot, damn.

Did you have working eyes between January 2022 and January 2023, Bobby?

I'm from the 'he did his job here' school but he was absolutely wank at NUFC and getting our money back was amazing business. His non-existent hold-up play was the biggest disappointment, expected that to be one of his strengths but all he could do was get his head on long balls without any controlled direction.

Lovely ball from ASM

If VAR worked like it should they could play on and the ref could give the foul later if necessary. All this ’respect the original call’, high threshold to intervene and having two separate referees (on-pitch and VAR) means no one knows anymore when VAR should intervene and 99% of the time everything depends on the original call. Which is hilarious considering the reason VAR even exists.

We were too big a club for him and he never had any self-confidence. It’s pretty clear based on his time at Burnley and Nottingham that he’s not as bad a footballer as he looked here.

I think there’s a reason why no team uses orthodox wingers anymore, there’s data available that shows inverted wingers is better. Murphy playing right is actually weird in the modern game.
-
They didn’t really create much though, the second half chances were there due to us pushing up and individual howlers from mostly Tino. Think it very much was a ”if he had scored” match, if we go up 1-0 we IMO batter them.

First reply says it’s actually €6000 which is still a lot less tbf. I think the biggest problem is the English obsession of big name players getting big managerial gigs almost instantly and obviously failing. That then taints the reputation of English coaches who have actually done their licenses but fail to get any big jobs.

Has Elon broken embedding again?

Goal was a massive blunder by Nathan Collins.
-
Why wouldn’t he get a new contract? It’s an absolute no-brainer as his transfer value is close to nothing, low wages, local lad who is a leader and still performing on the pitch. Edit. Should’ve probably quoted Sibierski.
-
Should've been Schär tbh. Schär scored a brilliant modern pen against Wimbledon and if Pickford does that stealing against him he scores 100/100. Not a fan of Isak's pens either, wish we addressed that and make them learn the patient technique and not just hoping the goalie jumps the other way.
-
I've been saying this too. Mbeumo is a really good PL player but the fee would be +£50m and I don't see that as any kind of value and his ceiling is a bit limited IMO. Don't think he's the star player for a top 6-7 club which that fee should get you. Can't see it happening now especially after Mitchell's comments about us overspending on players previously.
-
Think he should be ahead of Murphy now based on the last two appearances, looked sharp.
-
We didn't have subs left. I believe he could've got some minutes today but the Trippier injury meant we had to hurry to get Tino and Longstaff on.
-
Did you watch the match or just the result?
-
Early reaction tells me it's a night off from N-O.
-
It’s not a poor performance though. Poor finishing and often final ball but we’ve dominated this and should’ve won.
-
Should let Schär take every penalty. That’s a garbage pen from Gordon, everyone laughs at stop start penalties but that Gordon pen reduces the likelihood of scoring to almost a coin flip. Absolutely no excuse to pick a bottom corner like that beforehand.

Draft picks and/or player swaps. Contract dumping is also a thing where you a send a player with a bad contract to another team but you'll be sending the player and draft picks without getting anything back to compensate for the bad contract. Receiving team is usually in a rebuild mode with lots of cap space.

Ah, it's spring already?
