It's a garbage system, think the on-field ref has gone against VAR only once or twice in the PL after going to the monitor. You could tell the ref today wasn't keen about disallowing that goal but went with the easy decision ie. follow the protocol.

Some people were mad that he wasn’t fouling people on Saturday when West Ham was countering. Didn’t really understand it, stopping one attack which most likely doesn’t result in a goal simply isn’t worth missing him for two matches.

I thought he was clearly trying to be more possession based and controlling the tempo during the first injury crisis of just having 10-11 outfield players available. It’s just not easy when there’s a 17 year old kid and struggling Longstaff playing in midfield and no one (outside of Hall) was getting enough rest.

He’s clearly not that strong mentally based on that one interview and right now his confidence is as low as it can be.
