Flags back, full house for the spurs game, new manager, keegan and shearer guests of honour.....

Would a takeover automatically mean a new shirt sponsor and the removal of the bloody 4 on the shirt?

Jesus, how is that 33 years ago?

Not posted in a long while but enjoyed reading through that this morning. First things first, Stifler, never change. The assault on ASM has been lost in all the discussion around the end of the game and to be fair its probably not a red at that point on the pitch. Really wound me up though that a near identical challenge by the Ukrainian lass in the Women's Euro playoffs was ridiculed on Twitter with plenty using it to highlight that women's football isn't up to it. Also, someone made the point about Liverpool getting two corners when Mane was clearly offside. Far too much inconsistency with when the linesman flags and what VAR looks back at. Every tight call on Wilson was immediately flagged and the game stopped whereas Mane was allowed to go on.

Does he speak any English at all?

I agree about the academies sucking the fun out of it for young kids. I have twin girls, 16 now, and one has been a goalkeeper with the N Ireland squads from age 11 and is now with the u19s. She trains and plays still but just gets no pleasure from football (although hopefully it will get her through uni at least). Her sister never made the international trials age 11 and was never given another shot. She stuck with her local team through the age groups and now captains the senior side and has just made the N Ireland Futsal squad, she is loving her football.

Hayden at RWB is the only way I see it -

Really odd watching Crusdaers v Wolves on TV on the pitch my girls were playing on last weekend

Nsoki is a full-back though. Left or right? Mainly left I think. Cheers, just seen that in the other thread. Sounds as if he is another Dummett type though, not really a full back or a centre back. What we really need are some full backs who can overlap the wide men, especially on Ritchie's side. If we plan on using a back 5 it is vital the wingbacks attack, where else in any width coming from? Also, makes a mockery of aiming for wingers like St Maximim if we use that formation

Attacking players need to start inside the box, defenders can stand right next to the keeper and take a short pass, giving them a few seconds before they can be closed down.

What's the firm/person? ROGON

It seems Joelinton shares an agent with this St-Maxim fella we are also linked with. What's the odds that a bit of digging shows they same agency represented Gonzales, Doumbia etc?? If only we had a half decent local press to find the story in it

Worst part of the tournament, even worse than VAR, has been Jonathan Pearce. Thankfully I'm flying out now for the semis and final so don't have to put up with him anymore

It's definitely not the worst kit we have had recently, I think it will look a lot better on

Totalsport complaining that if this goes through we will be another Man City, and not the community club we are now!!! Have they seen what Man City have done? Its the one thing I would be most excited about, never mind big name signings, but investment into the whole club, a proper academy etc
-
If it goes through one of the main things will be bringing in someone with half a clue to run things. Imagine the wage demands agents are going to be throwing around for new and current players

He wants to move as he has a daughter down south right? Surely given his improved form (really impressed how attacking he can be) and maturity deserves a new better contract offer? I take it he has split from the mother otherwise why would she not move to him?

What happened to the young spanish winger/forward, fernandez was it?

Newcastle United v Watford (26/01/19 @ 3pm) FA cup 4th Round
Belfast Boy replied to morla84's topic in Football
I can see why he is protecting Rondon and Dubs, so much of our chances to stay up depend on them two. However, IF we sneak through this round and avoid a big 6 team next then surely we have to go for it. A run through to the quarter finals and maybe beyond would lift the whole club and once you get to that stage, who knows what may happen. -
or a back 5 with Longstaff and Ritchie central?
