How Would You Feel About Winning The Title For Man U?
Dan Gleebals replied to Shak's topic in Football
Are you Dot Cotton? On the thread, could not really give a fook. I would say on the balance of play (i.e. how both teams have played over the season) Manu deserve the title so would not be to disappointed if they won it. Ok that battered us, that is our fault not theres. Personally, I cannot stand Chelsea and the arrogant fookers they are. -
Chris Hughton new Coach?the real reason behind recent success?

You having a laugh? -
Not shown enough really to warrant staying. Then again nor had Michael Owen until recently and I would not want him to leave now. See what the summer brings I reckon, then decide.

Due a loss - based on what? We are going to win the league next year We have had 15 already in the league, is that not enough??!!!!!! I see what you are saying tho based on form - before the last 4 games anyway. Another win please.

They are still fighting for Europe in the league so I cannot see this being as easy as people make out. I am still however hopeful we can get a result, even if just a draw. IMO, a win would certinaly mean we are moving in the right direction.

one game, no comparison. Yet.

Why not, although being realistic we still have some hard teams to play. WH, Chelsea and Everton - they are not easy games. It would be great if we could close the season off in style, as KK said it would build interest for next season, for the fans, players and potential signings.

I am sure he would have had some effect, if not to lighten the load on KK a bit. Either way, the new management team seem to be finding thier feet now. Long may it continue. -
Dreaming might be the best word to describe this. Then again, lets wait and see. Who knows what Ashley is prepared to throw at us for next season. I am not sure he is the kind of personality we need to be honest. Would rather go for more of a team player than Henry, despite how good he is. We have virtually got rid of all tha attitude, would be a shame to bring it all back in one player.

Harper all day long on current form anyway. I think Given will either rise to it or strop off. Either way, I do not think Harper has done much wrong at all lately.

Arsenal and Man U both take in £3m every match day. That is the figure we must try to surpass. They charge nearly £100 for some seats, I cannot see that going down well in toon. I cannot think of another team that would be so well supported through a very poor season, I think the whole league knows that.

cannot be arsed to read all the recent threads so apologies if someone has made this point. Assuming we are going for European players as well as English, is anyone concerned that the Euro's will get in the way of our transfer progress in the summer?

Typical of this board that people go and get over excited for no reason. We have played well and got a great result over spurs. However, we are on 35 points for a reason, we have been desperately shit all season. I am all for being positive and am as happy as the next person about our recent return to form. I think an element of caution with optimism is required. 10-0 score lines are not realistic. I think we should just focus on being safe, not put any pressure on the team now and at least enjoy the end of what has been a season to forget. Then, we can look forward to the summer and some additional players (I hope).

People who doubt him are fooking stupid. Just look at his record for fook sake. Injuries, shit management have not helped. We are only now seeing what he can do. I suggest we get right behind him. Keeping him will save us alot of money.

Think you answered your own question.

There are not too many jobs that payout the full value of your contract when you are SACKED for POOR results. In fact, I cannot think of any.
