From the You Tube link, it looks like a late challenge that happens 10 times a game. Hard to see from the angle though. I wish Eduardo all the best, although some are mentioning that it could be a career ending injury. Hope not for the lad.

Emre is a write off. Might be our most creative midfielder, but he should be moved on in the summer. And if Butt and Smith play, they'll do their usual bend over and get f**ked routine as they normally do when we face this lot. -
What's all this parrot business ? Is it just bullshit or what ?
-
Never heard anything bad about him. Hopefully he'll bring plenty of experience to the club.

Can't see anything other than a Manc win here. What will be interesting is what kind of performance the players put in. If it ends up being a walkover, then some of them will doubtlessly have played their last game for the club. KK will be looking for a reaction tomorrow - will he get it though ? It's gonna be very tough tomorrow and I'm sure the Mancs will be intent on goading us over the present situation. -
Part of Gazza's problem is that he was easily led. Not only by his advisers who shafted him in the end, but also those 'friends' who hung onto his coat-tails (not specifically 5 Bellies). I wonder where they are now ? Nowhere to be seen, I bet. I wish him all the best with his recovery.

Apparently it's just been on SSN, according to someone on another forum. Anyone got any more info ?

What's up with Dida for tomorrow night ?

Not the best first half, though the ref may as well be wearing a red shirt. I'm no lover of Inter or Matterazi, but he was very harshly sent off. Not sure if the scousers will have enough in their locker to score.

The West End - a time bomb ? : Sure it's got it's not too good areas, but so does everywhere else. Scotswood is being regenerated at the moment which will hopefully give the area a lift. I live in Fenham and rest assured, it's no $hithole.

Just not been interested from the off. It's all about staying fit and out of bother for Milan on Wednesday night.

Man United fans always argue that baiting Shearer is funny. A tad (just) obsessed with him more like.
-
It was a very poor challenge from Eboue. He's an odious little so and so.
-
Arsenal have been awful. Clearly not that bothered about this game.

Marc Hottiger or was he away by then ?

Oh and I might add that not many lads enjoyed standing behind me - but that's different with me being very tall fella.
-
Standing should still be a part of the football experience. It can be done in Germany (and safely), so why not here ? Basically because no government will nail itself to changing things because of the Taylor Report and the outcry that would occur. As an ex Gallowgate Ender (Corner, then Scoreboard) - going to the match and standing every with the same set of lads was class. Something that many of the younger fans won't have experienced. The fact is that all-seater stadia are a massive reason as to why the atmosphere has been killed at many PL grounds. As for the Mancs - I don't have a lot of time for them. They seem to seek support from others and then pour scorn just as quickly when it suits.

I wish Jacko all the best. I remember him well from those days in the mid-late 80's. He had commitment which would put many of today's squad to real shame.
-
We should get rid, but who would be daft enough to take him off our hands ? As for yesterday - it seemed a tussle with Maloney but even when seen in slow mo, I didn't think there was a punch thrown.

Everyone and their dog chipping in how it seems. What has our predicament got to do with a regional paper based in Northamptonshire ? A place that can boast a wonderful place as Corby ! Interesting to see that Allardyce is being absolved of any blame as well. Mind boggling. -
That's quite unbelievable what he's said. Absolving himself of all blame is nothing short of incredible. He's left a cancer amongst the playing side and it's going to take time to get rid. The man is an island to himself.

Updated: Keegan & the group of players he inherited (their futures?)

Milner was our best man today - at least he put some effort in and tried to go past his man. Put so called bigger name players to shame. -

Whatever happens in the run up to the end of the season, a mass clearout is needed. I think only the likes of; Given Harper Beye Taylor Faye Enrique Milner N'Zogbia Owen have futures at the club. Everyone else not good enough. -
Are you confident in Keegan dropping the underperformers?
Big Geordie replied to Dave's topic in Football
I'm not convinced that we have adequate replacements available to consign the likes of Carr and Smith to a good long spell in the reserves. If we do manage to stay up - KK has a massive rebuilding job on during the summer.
