ppl? Seems a bit pointless unless one of these ppl is the manager.

Yup. http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/ Here's to there being no Champions League club having the slightest bit of interest in the lad.
-
Don't think he's ever been more than that and 'people close to N'Zogbia' saying he'd be delighted to return. All this, 'it's good Gervinho's buggered off, as now we'll get Charlie back' is just pie in the sky I reckons. /'be happy as a sand boy to be proved wrong mind.

Who'll miss part of the season anyway. Madness For a fee of something like 12m+ Yes, they really did need another flashy winger who can't finish, didn't they? He can finish can't he? Think this is exactly the type of signing they need. Walcott, arshavin and nasri are far too wasteful in front of goal, considering how much arsenal create. Is he that much better than any of those lads though?

Would be a fantastic transfer window. Last summer was pretty good as well, so it'd be two good summers in a row, almost unprecedented for a club like ours. Hot damn, stop jinxing shit! /not going to happen, not going to happen, not going to happen, not going to happen, not going to happen, not going to happen, none of it's going to happen...

/Not that I'm one for predicting owt mind, but I'd be staggered if we didn't lose one or two first teamers.
-
It would be good... but doesn't look very likely.

There's a good lad CWarr.

Certainly odd that Sewlly and that are saying he's on a free for us but that article said Fiorentina were hoping to get him for 6m euros. That article is was also saying they're going to sign him from Hoffenheim. Sounds spot on then.

Would make sense, Wolves have been after a first team left sided defender for some time. McMackem said so himself in Jan IIRC. Delighted for the lad if true.

And from the Chron - “There was talk of Liverpool and Arsenal, but Newcastle were the club who made the move for me, and I really like Alan Pardew’s strategy and how he told me he wants to play. “I heard of other interest, but I didn’t hesitate for one second to join Newcastle because they have an ambitious project.” Good to see Pardew selling the club well. "Well Arsenal have got Fabregas so you'll not play there, Liverpool have just spunked £20m on Henderson...you can get in ahead of Guthrie mind."

Has to play a part. The club was a constant buzz in the background, socially, and from the blanket coverage in the local rags. It very much felt for me that it was your team, your area, against other town/cities teams. Now the constant exposure of other teams and pretty much knowing every inch of the top 4 players lives has to dilute that bond to a degree. Still think kids dream of turning out for the club, but maybe the romanticism has been somewhat displaced by a degree of open eyed pragmatism, and perhaps a more worldly outlook in terms of career choices now.

I'd accept missing out on the player if he crashed it on the way. What an entirely miserable thing to say. /Undoubtedly misplaced, but somehow still have hopes on us getting Gameiro. http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/Smileys/custom/fingers_crossed2.gif

Nice one, just hope you aren't surrounded by too many grumpy sods.
