    Damon Gray

It was part of his B licence training with TC. Still has to do his A licence if he wants to manage.
  3. Eh, he was an absolute charmer at the pumps. How close are you two?
  4. Pfft, there are a stack of London clubs in the PL, it's clearly London bias. Aye cos if Sunderland were in the PL all our players would have a bias and vote for them and vice versa ffs.
  5. Yet again I can say... I'm glad Roeder didn't manage to achieve his effective swap with the fat Aussie.
  6. How odd. I read the title and his name immediately sprung to mind too for some reason.
  7. Nope i agree with you mate, makes alot of sense Gibbo tends to make sense a lot of the time and is someone I have actually have a lot of time for at the Chronicle. The other two are as bad as each other (or indeed Roeder) for their weak excuses and scapegoats.
  8. Ah, so there were three in there. I'm not shocked at all that I couldn't distinguish between Lee Ryder and Oliver. The apprentice has clearly come of age.
  9. cause they have tried their best to get him to sign a contract and he wouldnt as he wants to move on. Simple really if he was being let go for no reason, or being sold off then i would join you I think Dan is implying he is a mercenary bastard Well to be fair he has a point. He was offered £25,000, the best the wage structure at Reading can allow, and turned it down for more money elsewhere primarily. Don't have much of a problem with that really but I'm not going to kid mysely that he is joining for fame and footballing reasons.
  10. Go Oliver!! That IS NOT Oliver. It is Gibbo. There are two separate articles that run into each other due to shoddy formatting. It should be fairly easy to spot where the absolute toss turns into something substantially more sensible.
  11. I think he said that he wouldn't leave if the weather stayed like this (must have been a sunny day), but it was tongue in cheek obviously. Anyhoo Newcastle is the second driest city in the country rain wise so there you go. Can't defend us on the long ball comment though tbf.

It was the first time Portsmouth had ever played the back 4 deployed against us together. Still won though didn't they. Besides, on numerous occasions Roder has had the opportunity to stick with settled combinations but has voluntarily changed things to accommodate his favourites. No sympathy I'm afraid, sorry.
  13. How does he do that? EVERY single NUFC forum brought to it's proverbial knees by Shepherd's number one fanboy himself. He never gets bored of defending Shepherd, wonder if another forum means a bonus? Fair play to the lad. Multiple forums and an in depth knowledge of the copy and paste shortcuts could well be enough for a Number 1 St. James' Park suite all to himself. He's like an inalienable force of the galaxy. It's quite cool really. Yup. It's always good to have constants in life. Makes you feel safe.

  15. Nice random thought there then. Like Shay Given you mean? Indeed.
  16. From all reports I've read and first hand reports I've heard, he is a cracking lad. The most accommodating, genuine, and generous member of the squad in recent years tbh.
  17. perhaps Roeder could already see he was turning into a precious cunt, and was trying to inspire some loyalty in him? really is laughable when people think they know a player from what they see for 90 minutes every other week, when the manager sees every aspect of his life No, people are just being cautious to jump on a promising players back. What really is laughable is when contrary idiots have a go at others, while spouting off utterly offensive bullshit based on nothing more than the musings of Oliver and his sock puppet/club insider.
  18. It's just too easy for Oliver. Hook, line, and sinker. Wonder who will be next to jump ship.
  19. Intertrans gave me this - 'Redimio vestri per felicis quod gauisus'. Any old boys from Dame Allens or RGS fancy a crack.
  20. yes but mr roeder we dont feel happy or positive at the minute Or particularly lucky really. I think our club motto is something like 'Strength Through Defence' which hasn't been very appropriate in recent years, so maybe we need a change. What is 'Surround yourself with the lucky and the happy' in Latin?
  21. Remove these negative people! Take them away from me; I can't stand negativity. Surround yourself with the lucky and the happy - that's my motto. blueyes.gif
