  1. Been a season of 2 half's for us. 1st half most of performances were good. 2nd half very scrappy. It's almost like the manager saw it coming. Club could have bought their way out of trouble, manager could have managed his way out of trouble. Neither has happened.
  2. Win today and it's a 9 for promotion and 8 to win the league. Just can't bank anything on the home form and have to hope away doesn't run out, if so the pressure will become incredible at sjp and I'm unsure whether the squad have the stomach for it. Be great to see others weaknesses come through for a change. Brightons & Huddersfield smaller and less capable squads making mistakes and picking up a few key injuries (that looks like it's changing a bit for both, but both have had a lot of luck in those two areas this season)
  3. More likely gives them a reason to become complacent.
  4. On Keane as a pundit: I agree with what he's saying in this instance, but his delivery is poor and awkward. Thinking back there's a few times I've thought that about him. Mourinho becomes more unlikable by the day, however I still think he's entertaining which is fine as the premier league is the biggest soap opera in the world.
  5. The increase in revenue is peanuts compared to any TVs deals. Most clubs can survive without a fan base if managed correctly. The only real bonus is increased real estate and tangible assets for viewing club value. Saying that an expansion would be great and we'd fill it no problem with a decent / reformed owner.

    England

Especially since they already blame the FA for this season and unsettling slugheed.

  8. I once saw a couple bring a full on picnic arriving 15-20mins late. They sat behind me chatting about their plans for the rest of the weekend Before leaving 5mins early. This is why I don't go to games. Better atmosphere in any boozer across the north east.

Ah intent to cause a riot. Yes I was charged with that at 15. Happy days.

Didn't even know it existed until I clicked that link. Quite happy about that. (Refusing to admit I'm old)
  11. Keeper could have done better.
  12. Cronaldo is having twins to go with his boy; all from surrogates. If he's gay he could change football forever and come out and say so, if he's not, it's just strange considering he could have the pick of women. Hope he doesn't retire then let it out, would be such a shame and a missed opportunity for the sport.
  13. I think a little more flexibility wouldn't go amiss. He must see certain things not working but he chooses not to react but to keep with it. He's protecting the bigger picture, understood, but sometimes to reach that end goal you need to adapt and make changes which will impact the short term. I think he is being let down by players individual performances, but he could change things and give it a shuffle instead of sticking with, there's enough in the squad to do that, lesser squads are managing. He's been brilliant for the club and long term will be an amazing asset should we keep him but this season hasn't been as expected. I expected defeats but by luck, refs, individual mistakes, not being dominated and outplayed by teams stuck in this division. Hopefully we can get him the players he needs to play the way he wants next season, but if its the players then we're going to need to sell about 10 and bring in about 15 to do anything but stay up (should we go up)
  14. Fulham play decent football. Blackburn doing the double is way worse. Jesus christ i'd forgot about that.
  15. Doubled by Fulham in the Championship. Got to be a low mark on his CV, that. Still though, he won't change anything, it either starts working somehow or we end up in the playoffs
