  1. Not sure if he'd be back in time. I'd take him straight off the plane over any of our other options. Atsu has a match against Burkina Faso in Gabon today. I thought they were out. Oh well

  3. Darlow Yedlin Hanley Clark Lazaar Shelvey Hayden Ritchie. Atsu Diame Mitrovic Please.
  4. It's all a game plan. We had set limits, won't be taken for mugs and couldn't get value for money. We will posture through the press (preferred media partners) in the summer, but in the end Rafa will get what he wants in reason, nothing has changed. The crowd has been flat for a while, it will be white hot next game, it all comes good and pressure is off us and on our rivals (who incidentally choked when they had advantage) The club is a soap opera, that will never change but it has learned how to play the game, and Rafa is pulling the strings.
  5. Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The 24-year-old, who suffered a similar setback last season in his right knee, injured himself in training and is expected to be out for six months. "Callum showed incredible character and determination to come back last season," said Cherries boss Eddie Howe. "We know he has the same strength and will do the same again." Wilson's injury last season occurred in a game at Stoke on 26 September and he returned just over six months later, on 9 April in a substitute appearance against Aston Villa. Capped once by England Under-21s against France in 2014, the former Coventry forward has scored six goals in 20 league appearances for Bournemouth this season Poor lad. Will do well to come back from a second.
  6. That bang average squad hasn't been helped by some of the shite Rafa has brought in. Money might have been available if it wasn't wasted so freely in the summer.
  7. If rafas head and heart is not in it from one setback when his own performance has been questionable then no, I'm not too arsed, in fact I'd rather him left now as to not derail the entire season. He needs to man up and earn the money his reputation has got him. For me he's not done that so far. Let me clarify I want him to stay for many years, but if he's gonna spit the dummy because he didn't get what he wants then it's only gonna end one way, every club has a limit, if he was bossing the league I think Ashley would be more ewilling to give him what he wants, as it stands he should be doing better.
  8. Such as who? Bearing in mind we don't pay compensation for managers in jobs Alan pardew That's two people now, Dokko and Neesy, who have said there's better options out there but neither have provided the name of a manager who would be a better option for us yet I think the manager we sacked and he replaced would have more points on the board with this squad. Who would I rather have? Rafa of course, doesn't mean we couldn't find someone to finish off the job dare I say it do better. The real issue is if he stays out of respect to the fans but the players know he wants away, it will kill us. I'd rather him go now. That's still not answering the question I asked about finding a more flexible available manager because McClaren is in a job at Derby and we don't go for managers who are in jobs unless they get sacked or resign, so you still haven't provided a name for a manager. Which available managers are more flexible and would do a better job? You've just said you wouldn't be worried if Rafa walked You can't just rule out manager who are in work because it suits your argument. Same argument that said we'd never hire someone as high profile as rafa in the first place or let him be more than a coach. I'm not ruling him out based on my argument, I'm ruling him out because our board don't pay compensation for managers already in jobs If Mcclaren is the only manager you can name then I've no idea how you can not be worried if Rafa left tomorrow Is that it from you? Who you got, if it's not suitable then case closed. I said the wally simply as its relevant as he'd our last manager, getting Derby going g and we're playing him next. Tbh rafa walks I'd personally go get hughton two birds one stone, unlike players you can't really stop managers taking to other clubs if you buy out their contract. What about Gary Rowett? Nice and cheap, ticks all the boxes. Are you taking the piss? From Rafa Benitez to Gary Rowett? If he goes what do you expect? Klopp? Apparently we aren't allowed to go after managers with jobs...
  9. It's about getting the best out of what you've got, something rafa isn't doing.

Face it he's underachieved, just like the board, he needs to up his game and earn his ridiculous salary and show us what he's made of, as what he's done so far is below par.

  13. Exactly. I can't blame Ashley for expecting more from rafa, I do, he's been poor come match day if we're honest, but Ashley should have backed him this window and shaped the squad in ready for its return to the top league. Tbh I'm not too worried if rafa leaves tomorrow, we can find a more flexible manager who'd win the league still with this squad, my worry is he's mentally checked out and this filters to the players. We could end up missing out on promotion quite easily as the feel good factor has been totally destroyed. Ashley still doesn't get this, fucking idiot.
  14. He's been shite come match day, don't know why so many people can't see it. Blinded by reputation imo.
  15. On current form and atmosphere around the club; a shaky 6. No new signings, rivals adding to their squad, an under performing squad and manager, lacks of goalscorers & creaters, lack of leaders and organisation at the back and nothing to write home about goalkeepers in average form...but lets see what the second half brings probably another QPR goal.
  16. It's the 13th, not the 31st. Put that Knee back in place. I'll put my foot up your arse if you like? Problem is you'd probably climax. We havent signed anyone yet, its not even halfway through the window, yet we've "messed up". There's no plan whatsoever (half arsed scattergun approach) and seems like the club thought they could ride their luck through to the end of the season. If you are happy with signing no one or some of the dross we've been linked with then fair enough, but I expected more. Two weeks wasted of settling in players, as we've seen with lazaar if we buy anyone now they'll be making their debut in a few month, if at all. It feels like the club of old, I doubt now we will sign anyone of note. Fuckin ridiculous that like Yet spot on. Clear to me from very early in the window what was going to happen.

Just hoyed £40 on them at 9/2 to stay up. Great odds considering their previous escapes.
  18. At least we got rid of Tiote. Some people are never happy.

    Andros Townsend

I think he'd possibly leave the atmosphere. Only happens when the transfer fee is hundreds of billions. And he reminds us all of a young Andy Beckford.
